animonda GranCarno Original Adult 24 x 800g - dog wet food

After the packaging changed, the food's quality changed too, unfortunately for the worse. My Cavalier used to tolerate it very well, but now he has problems with his eyes, getting terrible sores in his tear ducts, even though the description says there's no chicken in the ingredients??? On top of that, he's also having digestive issues.

The material is good, but otherwise just dented cans with bent rims.

I've been buying this dog food for years, but lately some of the products—probably to increase profit margins—have become lower quality. Beef and lamb are among them. At the top of the tin, there's still a meaty, good-looking mass, but in the bottom third it's just pure yellow fat and thickened broth. That's not what I call healthy dog food. I definitely won't be buying this variety again!

The food is mixed unevenly, and at the very bottom of the can there’s about 1 cm of fat.

For about two years I regularly gave my dog Animonda, but recently we've noticed he has been having stomach problems. The food has a different texture and smell, it looks like it's gone off.

My dog had been eating this food for a few months. Previously, he was on the junior version and loved it. With the last pack—beef and beef with lamb—he started having loose stools, diarrhoea, and was clearly feeling unwell. After a few days, he stopped wanting to eat the food altogether and preferred to go hungry. Also, there’s a lot of fat in the can. The food has definitely gone downhill, so I wouldn’t recommend buying it.
