Hill's Science Plan Adult - dog wet food

It was a great honour for me to test this product for my three loyal little friends. My first impression of the product was good—the dogs really enjoyed it. As we used it for a while, I did notice they wanted something different now and then, so I switched to another flavour and that worked out fine. The only downside for me as an owner is that the product is quite firm, which makes it a bit hard to mash. But all in all, it's a good and healthy choice.

Our dog loved this wet food for the first three days. After that, he left it and preferred his kibble. We have a Pomeranian and they’re quite picky with sensitive stomachs, so he did get some loose stools. The kibble is also from this brand, so we alternate between them sometimes. The food looks good and smells nice too. We got to test it for a few weeks and give him a bowl a couple of times a week. So for our little dog, it’s not a replacement, but an alternative food.

Our dog usually leaves her food out for hours, but as soon as I opened a tin of this for the first time, she started jumping around, and weeks later she’s still just as excited! Sometimes her stools can get a bit inconsistent with wet food, but she’s reacting really well to this one; her stools are firm and there’s hardly any smell. What I do find odd is that there’s only 9% chicken in it—I wonder what the rest of the animal ingredients are. It’s not an issue for my dog, but I do think transparency is important!

My little dog liked it and still likes it, he enjoys the taste, although he’d prefer if there were chunks instead of a pâté texture. In my opinion, it’s given him more strength and energy for life. He’s more eager to move around and usually finishes his food. His coat seems to be getting better too.

The cans are quite hard to open, it takes a lot of effort, but as soon as he hears the click, he's right next to me. Our dog really likes it. Personally, I find the contents a bit stiff, which makes it difficult to break into smaller pieces. Otherwise, it's gone in one bite. But that does mean he really enjoys it. Our dog is happy he got to try it.

My dog absolutely loves this dog food. I would have liked to post a photo of my dog eating, but it's already gone by the time I get the chance. He wolfs it down much faster than when he eats dry food. His digestion is going well and is regular, but I haven't noticed any changes or improvements in his coat yet. The food has that typical canned dog food smell—very appealing to the dog, but a bit less so for me. One downside is opening the tab; it's almost impossible to do without a tool.

First impressions are great – my dog ate more than half a can. The ingredients are nice, and my dog thinks it's pâté with rice. What's positive is that he didn't have any stomach issues after eating this food.
