Lean flavours like chicken & cranberry or rabbit & carrot are harder and more compact, because they have less fat. It depends on the dog – one eats it, the other is picky. The head meat & carrot / beef & pumpkin flavours are very fatty, the dog eats them more willingly, they’re softer and have a nicer texture. A downside you notice after putting it in the fridge – little fat balls and even a ring of fat at the bottom – there’s really a lot of fat in it.
