The smell is pretty mediocre. The appearance is also very average. It looks like a low-quality canned food. My dog barely wanted to try it and didn't like it at all. I can't say anything about its effectiveness or value, because my dog just didn't take to it. I'd rather invest in proper products.

When you open it, there’s a strong, unpleasant smell. Many of the opening caps break the tab, so you need a can opener afterwards.
