The bowl in the photo looks impressive, it seems like it would keep dry food in different spots and make the pet work a bit to get to the food. The reality is different—the inside of the bowl doesn’t stand a chance of holding even a gram of food, those rings are almost flat—the bowl won’t slow down eating at all.

My puppy has been eating from this since day one. The design is really good, it makes him eat slowly, and the fact that it’s ceramic is an extra bonus.

The product in real life has very low "ridges" in the middle of the bowl, literally about 0.5 cm. I don't know what that's supposed to slow down. We're returning the product.

I only use it for dry food, for small dogs, and it works great. If I add water, it takes them longer to eat. I find it unsuitable for wet food because my dogs go at it so eagerly that I’m afraid they might break their teeth. It sits on a non-slip mat and that works well. I keep ordering it again and again. Recently, something heavy fell on it and unfortunately it broke, despite the thick ceramic.
