Unfortunately, the push button is very stiff, so it becomes uncomfortable when you need more water. I like the idea of letting water flow back into the bottle, but unfortunately, depending on the amount of water, that also takes a long time. In this case, it would actually be easier to just unscrew the lid and pour the water back in that way. The food container is nice, but it's too small for the size of my dog.
