It does absorb, but it tends to swell up straight away. It doesn't absorb a huge amount, but it's still a good product.

We use these in size L for our old dog. They're great for him, don't leak, but it's a shame there's no XL to see how that would fit him. Now we're forced to look elsewhere, even though these nappies are really good for him in terms of use.
