Lukullus Cold-Pressed Veggie - dog dry food

My dog (a 12-year-old beagle) literally will eat anything, and I mean...ANYTHING! And we really thought she would love these as she loves whole rice, pasta, potatoes, any beans/lentils, and most veggies, and eats a lot of stuff when we're out for walks. But she will not touch this food. I'm not sure if it's the berries/fruits in it as she's not a fan of fruit. Would love to hear if anyone else with a beagle experienced the same thing or not?

I couldn't understand why my dog pooped so often and so much. A small 5kg dog pooping worse than my friend's 45kg dog... I have 3 types of food that I mix and balance because my dog has such a sensitive stomach. The sweet potato/pumpkin fries were out of stock, and now I get why after reading about the changes.

Where’s the meat here?? Why give a dog so many veggies, it makes no sense. And if someone gives this to a cat, that’s just wrong. A cat needs to eat meat, it simply can’t digest the rest. This food is pointless.

The new formula is of lower quality than the old one. It's a shame, my dog doesn't like this food anymore. The pellets smell unpleasant and are rock hard. So, worse quality for the same price—once again, profit is being made at the expense of consumers and their pets. Definitely something to remember: it's always the same, a new or supposedly improved formula always means the opposite.

The ingredients in the old recipe were excellent, but instead of improving, the new recipe has actually made the product worse… really sad, unfortunately I’ll have to find another one, such a shame!

Lukullus Veggie was THE food for my dog for years – her absolute favourite, even preferred over meat-based food. As a picky eater who usually leaves everything, this was worth its weight in gold. New recipe: non-stop diarrhoea. Transitioned carefully, mixed it in slowly – after days, still no improvement. Now I’m stuck with 10 kg she can’t tolerate. I rarely write negative reviews, but I have to join in here. Tip: Markus-Mühle Veggie has almost the same ingredients as the old one!

The pellets are huge and rock hard! My dog doesn’t like them at all and keeps spitting them out. I’d really like the old recipe back. :-(

It used to be great – but the last one I bought, my dog didn’t want to eat. They changed the recipe just to make more money – I won’t buy it again.

Since the new recipe, my dog won’t eat Lukullus cold-pressed dry food anymore. He just leaves it in his bowl. The new recipe was a complete flop.

Unfortunately, the new recipe contains a noticeably reduced and simplified variety of ingredients. Our two dogs also don’t like eating it as much anymore.

OLD RECIPE WAS GREAT, NEW RECIPE WITH DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS AND COMPOSITION IS DEFINITELY WORSE. BETTER TO BUY THE OLD ONE WHILE IT'S STILL AVAILABLE.
