I've always bought these kibbles, but since they changed the formula, I've noticed my dog has diarrhoea. Also, they come with no closure system at all and they smell bad, unlike the old ones which used to have a nice scent. Obviously, they've made the product worse just to save money.

Unfortunately, the change wasn't just to the packaging—it got worse. My dogs have loved this food for years, but now they can't tolerate it and are having trouble with their digestion. Time to look for something better.

Negative experience, the batch was maybe contaminated with something. I’m worried about my dogs who were affected (all the ones who ate Purizon Fish), while the others eating a different brand are perfectly fine. I feel terribly guilty.

Terrible and we’re desperate

Liquid stools in 10 out of 12 Pomeranians, I thought I was dealing with a quality food. I even bought it a second time, hoping the dogs would get used to it, but I was wrong to keep trusting the brand. I also tried it with other breeds and got the same results. Expensive food isn’t always properly formulated.

After I received a sample of this product, excited by its quality and how much my dog liked it, I bought a whole bag. Big mistake! It didn’t have even a hint of fish smell, just a weird odour I can’t even describe. My dog wouldn’t touch it, and he usually eats anything. I spoke to the people at Zooplus and got the usual spiel – different batch, and they don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. Money down the drain. The other Purizon products I’ve tried were very good. I bought from a competitor, and surprise, strong fish smell as expected.

I had been buying Purizon dog food for quite a while. It was good food—until it wasn’t. Suddenly, my dog started having blood in his stool. We went to the vet, did some tests, and it turned out the problem was a change in the food’s ingredients. I saw other people’s comments and decided to switch food. The symptoms pretty much disappeared straight away.

I bought this product for years. One day, Purizon changed the type of bag and, more importantly, the formula. Both my dogs started having bad stools and eventually refused to eat the kibble. The same kibble they used to eat with great enthusiasm for almost their whole lives. Absolutely not recommended.
