Rocco Senior Classic Beef with Salmon - dog dry food

For adult dogs, it's not a bad food, but my dog didn't really like it. Maybe because beef and salmon are related to each other.

My senior dog has taken a liking to this food—she eats it with appetite. The food has a pleasant smell that attracts her to the bowl. The kibbles are just the right size. No stomach upsets after eating. I recommend it for older dogs.

The kibble size is perfect for my senior dog, not too big, not too small – just right. He loves salmon, so he really enjoyed the flavour. Every time, he asks for more. I recommend this product—or rather, my four-legged friend does :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our three furry friends are delighted ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We got to try out the Rocco Senior Classic Beef with Salmon and were really curious to see how our three little gourmets would like it. As soon as we opened the bag, all three were standing by, full of curiosity – and after the first taste, there was no stopping them. The bowl was immediately crowded and the food was clearly judged to be very good. I especially like the composition with a high proportion of animal ingredients. The kibble is a nice size for our French Bulldogs and was eaten without any trouble. Overall, the food gives a high-quality impression. We do have one small criticism: unfortunately, the opened bag can’t be resealed. It’s not a big issue, but we had to transfer the food into another container with a lid. A resealable closure would have been a nice extra. But what matters most to us: all three really enjoyed the food and took to it well. Getting the taste right for three dogs at once is a bit of a challenge, after all. So, despite the small packaging flaw, we and our three testers give a clear recommendation. Conclusion: Bowl empty, dogs happy – product test passed!

Typical dry food, and Hilde immediately got an appetite for it. The trail of drool went all through the house. Warning: slippery floor!!! Next time, please include a cleaning product as well. Hilde is our 11-year-old Weimaraner lady and a true gourmet. It was clear that the food from Rocco was a big hit. Passed the smell and taste test in no time. The only downside: the dog poos increased throughout the day and were rather oversized. As an owner, that always catches my attention, since there are too many substances in the food that the animal doesn’t digest. And as an owner, you only want the best for a long life together. Please pay more attention to this. You can find the dosage on the packaging as usual, according to the dog’s weight. So it’s quite simple and standard. Price range is normal.

The Rocco Classic Senior Beef with Salmon is very well received by our dog. He enjoys eating the food, and the size and texture of the kibbles are just right. The smell is pleasant and not too strong. Our dog also tolerates the food well. I also appreciate the composition, with a high proportion of animal ingredients and no grains. I think the price-performance ratio is fair too.

Marie was absolutely thrilled with the food and thought it was really tasty. She couldn’t wait to try it and finished her bowl politely. The smell of the food is pleasant, and the size of the individual pellets is good because they’re not too big. We’re totally impressed with the Rocco dog food 👍👍👍.

My senior dog really likes it! Our Cleo tried the special Rocco Senior Dry Food Kibble and what can I say, she devoured it. It contains a bit fewer calories than the regular food and has extra ingredients specially tailored for older dogs. My girl loved it and it suits her really well! I’ll keep buying it and can only thank you for letting us try it. The kibble could be a bit smaller, the smell was pleasant, as well as the consistency and texture.

Oreo got to try out the Rocco Classic Senior Beef with Salmon dry food and, taste-wise, he definitely gives it a paw up. His bowl was emptied with enthusiasm every time, and the mix of beef and salmon seems to go down really well with him. From the owner's perspective, though, there are a few things I'd like to see improved. Especially for a senior food, I find the kibble a bit too hard. Older dogs often struggle with dental issues, so a slightly softer and easier-to-chew texture would suit the target group better, in my opinion. When it comes to the ingredients, I'd also like to see a bit of optimisation for senior food here and there. Since older dogs are usually less active, I personally would have preferred a lower amount of potatoes and sweet potatoes. But overall, that's more of an owner's concern. Oreo himself clearly didn't bother with the ingredient list and went straight for the taste test. A practical suggestion for improvement is the packaging. A zip-lock would be brilliant. That way, the bag could be easily resealed after opening and the food would stay fresh for longer. Our verdict: Taste-wise, Rocco Classic Senior Beef with Salmon definitely won Oreo over. As the owner, I see some room for improvement in the texture, ingredients, and packaging.

Our dog Dori really liked this food. Generally, she's a picky eater and often has digestive issues. But here, there was no problem—even though the kibble is bigger than what she's used to, she had no trouble with it. There were also no skin issues or scratching. I recommend this food.

They immediately took a liking to it—both eagerly approach their bowls and eat up their whole portions. I’d describe the kibble size as pretty standard; they’re not tiny pieces, but rather classic, hard kibbles. They smell nice and kept their aroma right up until the end of the pack. The food also worked well digestion-wise—no stomach upsets, no rumbling tummies, and their stools were normal. I liked that the food is made specifically for seniors, and I think we’ll be coming back to it often. To sum up: the seniors are happy, bowls are licked clean, and tummies are content.

Our Bones was sceptical at first. The kibble is a bit hard for our old boy, but the smell won him over in the end. He gets on well with the food now. I really like the ingredients. The food provides everything an older dog needs.

The positives are the grain-free ingredients, easy digestibility, and the addition of dietary supplements like flaxseed. My dog feels great after eating it, and there were no digestive issues.

A pet food with a really great composition, no wheat, just sweet potatoes, flaxseed, and a high content of salmon. It smells nice, the dogs ate it eagerly so I bought another big pack. After three weeks of feeding them this, I feel like their coats have improved—they seem thicker and shinier. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product!
