Wolf of Wilderness Senior "Green Fields" Lamb - Grain-Free - dog dry food

Why the recipe has changed? I understand that it is cheaper and contains less vital ingredients, but it used to be good dog food and that was reason for buying it. Now I could see the difference and digestion problems for my dog and I have to look for different food again. It's so disappointing.

It caused my 9 years old standard schnauzer stomach and pancreas inflamation.

I was very disappointed. she became very gassy. It's better than Bosh, but with Bosh there was no gas

First time trying this as i thought our Lab might like a change as he has been on same food for years. He loves it pushing bowl around as he licks it clean. One issue but not sure yet if its related, but his Anal glands were swollen after few weeks and had to go to vet to resolve not sure if this is due to change of food but has never happen before ,we are going to get second bag to see how it goes this month.

It's getting boring now with the reviews. I have to agree with the others. My 14 yo Jack Russel has become younger since eating this food. No more itchy skin, which he was on medication for. He needs a lot less than the feed guide says, which is fine by my wallet. He loves it, it seems to be very tasty. Also the canned food is very good.

Both dogs loved it, was gone in seconds. So far so good. Pity there is only one flavour in the senior though.

My dogs 11 and 13 had been losing interest in their food, so thought it was time for a change. After extensive research I ordered a 5kg bag of this to try and introduced it gradually with no adverse effects. Both dogs are now enthusiastically eating this alone, bowls licked clean. It seems to be a real hit. I do agree with a previous reviewer, why only 1 senior flavour? Unfortunately this seems the case with most brands. I’m sure older dogs also want variety.

I’ve tried several different fried foods, but always one liked it and the other didn’t. With Wild if Wilderness they both love it, especially the Wild Hills variety.

I have a French bulldog and a pug. My frenchy has a grain intolerance and my pug seems to have a chicken intolerance. I have tried almost all dry dog foods that you can get in the UK and this bay far is the best brand. The whites of their eyes are clear and bright, their ears are healthy and their coat is thicker and shinier (the pug even sheds less). They have fewer stools which are always hard and easy to pick up and most importantly they love it. I tend to buy a variety of each flavour and rotate between them so they don't get sick of it. If you haven't tried this food already I would definitely give it a go.

I have a bedlington terrier (7) who is extremely fussy with itchy paws and ears, and a whippet x greyhound (4) who will eat anything and is very healthy overall. I've gone through more brands of dog food than I could count with them both, as it had to be a good jasper will try. In comes Wolf of Wilderness! It's like a switch has been flicked! They both scoff their breakfast and tea like I've never seen before (jasper just wouldn't eat some days, he would turn his nose up at all food except human) but now they can't get enough of it! Thank you Zooplus for the excellent deals and economy packs 😁 It means I can get my dogs a high quality food with high meat content and it doesn't cost the earth!

To start with, this bag is really difficult to open. Where has the trusty zipper gone? Managed to open the 12 kg bag with some effort and transferred it into an empty bag with a zipper. My dog likes it, now just hoping she doesn’t get diarrhoea, as I’ve read in many reviews….

Years of use and never disappointed—I've been buying these kibbles since I was little and my dog loves them! The best part: they're grain-free and have a great percentage of meat! There's also a nice variety of flavours to choose from. I recommend them.

It's a shame that the formula has changed; normally, a product is supposed to get better, but here it's the opposite. I'm looking for another range for my dog now.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviews. I noticed right away that there’s a new recipe, which was clearly marked. Sadly, there’s less fresh meat now and the packaging can’t be resealed anymore, which is a real shame—it was better before. My dog still gets it, since he still tolerates it well and, compared to others, it’s still relatively okay. Still, it would be great to reverse these changes and just make the food 10% more expensive instead!

I've had to stop ordering this dog food because the new formula includes peas, and my dog, a 12-year-old Belgian Malinois, is intolerant to peas. It's a shame, she loved it and it suited her really well (with the old formula).

I don’t understand why they say it’s lamb when it actually contains chicken. I can hardly buy any food for my dog who’s allergic to chicken, because they put it in everything. Even in the hydrolysed version, my poor dog is still allergic.

Since the new recipe, my dog doesn't like to eat it anymore. Not even the other varieties. I won't be buying it again.

He really likes it. I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but he's very itchy. I've already given it to him once. Normally, I buy the grain-free lamb one as usual.

Both my girls tolerate it really well. Ideal for seniors, with everything a senior needs. No extra powders needed.

The kibble doesn't crumble. No adjustment period was needed; our dog ate them straight away and really enjoyed them.

Same price for a quality that's become mediocre, what a shame! I'll have to find a new brand of kibble.

I've been buying this brand of kibble for my dog for a while now, and I've noticed a big change: they're much drier, smaller, and all the flavours look the same colour now. I only buy 1kg bags to keep the kibble fresh and to vary the flavours, and I used to notice a real difference. Now, I can't tell the chicken from the lamb kibble anymore. :/

However, the packaging was changed a few months ago; it no longer has an inner foil lining. Packaging for dry pet food without a foil or metal lining poses a health risk for pets. Without this protection, oxygen, light, and moisture can get into the food, leading to rancid fats, loss of vitamins, and mould growth. A major pet food brand should really know better. I no longer trust this brand.

Product already in use for some time. I like to switch up the proteins and my big dog enjoys them slightly moist.

Kimik will soon be 12 years old and since he was 7, he switched to the Senior version, which clearly suits him very well because he still eats with just as much pleasure and appetite.

The zip is missing, unlike the other packages.

I am very disappointed with this product. The price has stayed exactly the same, but the formula has clearly been changed for the worse. When a company launches a new formula, customers naturally expect an improvement in quality or performance. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here. The new composition seems inferior to the old one, yet the price hasn’t been reduced. For this reason, I no longer recommend this product. In my opinion, this reformulation is a step backwards.

Misleading packaging, there's only 4% lamb, the highest percentage is poultry at 38%, "Wolf of Wilderness Senior 'Green Fields' - Lamb". Not very honest.
