The wooden parts are super sharp-edged. I ended up with a bloody hand straight away when unpacking. So the manufacturer must be an animal hater if they can't even sand the parts properly! The cage is very sturdy and easy to assemble. Our guinea pigs don't trust the ramp yet to go up and down, but they've only moved in four hours ago. The floor is mirror-smooth, but so far the animals (all still young) are managing well with bedding.
