Skyline Loco Sombrero Tower Small Animal Cage

The cage had to be shipped twice because the first one just disappeared during delivery. All in all, it took 2 weeks until it finally arrived. The cage itself is OK. A bit wobbly and the doors stick a little, but it’s manageable. However, the shelves are a complete no-go for the price! I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to put untreated, thin wood in a rodent cage.

Given that it’s not exactly cheap, they could at least provide written instructions instead of those awful, unreadable drawings. That wouldn’t be asking too much. But even trying my hardest to follow the drawings, it’s just impossible to fit the upper level. The result is a gigantic empty tower that takes up space without the rats being able to use the upper area. On top of that, “Corsica isn’t in France so you have to pay €10 for delivery”, and then the delivery itself was nowhere near the promised 2-4 working days.
