Inferior quality, now looking for an alternative

Unfortunately, very disappointed with the quality. The doors are loose and hard to close, assembling it took two people but wasn’t easy. The instructions don’t mention how to attach the lid. The interior is made of thin craft wood, which means urine or water is immediately absorbed and can’t be removed. We covered the ladders with hemp matting so the rats would even want to use them. We are not happy with the cage. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PURCHASE.

Cage is OK. Delivery was a disaster

The cage had to be shipped twice because the first one just disappeared during delivery. All in all, it took 2 weeks until it finally arrived. The cage itself is OK. A bit wobbly and the doors stick a little, but it’s manageable. However, the shelves are a complete no-go for the price! I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to put untreated, thin wood in a rodent cage.
