Trixie Cat Toy Bird for Door Frames

Not sure exactly how it's meant to be hung but there are many ways that work. Cats are intrigued by it and keep coming back.

My cats love this toy so much they have broken it 4 times in 24 hrs.

I bought this toy for my cat but my 4 month old puppy loves it aswell she spends hours playing with it and a great way to tire her out

Great toy, very safe for kitties (she could never bring it down from the door frame, although she is strong and persistent), endless hours of fun!

My cats enjoyed it but it didnt hang well on my door and the string broke after 2 days

I bought this for my daughters kitten and it is an immediate success!

I would definitely recommend, cat plays with this toy until he eventually breaks it. I've bought a few as back up.

This is absolutely brilliant, my kitten is hard to please and I am run ragged trying to keep her occupied. But I can hitch this up anywhere really, you don't need a door frame. I string it over my hanging light shade in the living room as well as over the door frames. I have a pretty violent playing kitten so if you do too just keep your eye out as my kitten manged to wrap the cord around her tail...so I only let her play when I am home and take it down afterwards.

Wow, I have never seen my shy, skitty cat love something so much. She usually hides away but she can't keep away from this. She becomes the kitten she should've been if it wasn't for her being a ferral kitten. I've just spent the last hour mesmerized with her and the new toy.

This has kept my kitten (7 months) occupied for ages as he's leapt about trying to catch the bird. It's only been the first day so not sure how long it will last but every time I hang it up, he's there and it keeps him totally occupied. I'm very pleased and would definitely order another one when needed.

I've been struggling to find toys to occupy my Bengal kitten… she's incredibly energetic and doesn't focus on one thing for very long. This door toy is completely different though. She will spend ages playing with it, and because you can adjust how high it is, i've been slowly raising it so that it's more of a challenge and she's getting more of a workout. Definitely a good purchase, and I expect I will be buying more if she wears this one out!!

Good value for money. Pity my kitten is too young to be interested in the toy for longer period of time.

I'd say this is a good low-cost toy cats can play with on their own when you are not at home. Our cats used to like it until we put together the Catit circuit toy for them; then they completely lost interest in the duck! Still, the duck remains hanging on our door, since it's not in the way once you push it to the side and once in a while the cats run after it if I pull and swing it around for them (that means it's no longer a self-play toy for them). Happy we got it but would not buy again/more of it.

I have two cats, and my Siamese boy, Frankie - loves these sooooo much! He has gone through 4 up to now as his favourite pastime, after 'catching it', is to chomp its crunchy head right through! I have now discovered if I then pull all the plush filling out (of the head) and stuff a small catnip filled mouse in the hole he gets a whole new lease of life out of it! But I still buy him new ones (two at a time) because he loves them and I love him! :-)

My rambunctious one year old Bengal loves this toy! Even after coming in tired from a day of hunting and mooching around he can't leave it alone! A simple but brilliant idea that will provide hours of fun.

This toy is amazing, my kitty absolutely loves it and likes to try take it away but gets confused as it springs back on the elasticated string. I have been looking for a toy that I can leave dangling in mid air for him to play with and this was a great find. I put the toy in the catnip jar over night to absorb in the smells. He loved to toy even more! I do agree that over play with this toy there will probably be just a head left as have all my other toys. So I don't let my kitty play with it all day, maybe a few hours and then I put it away. This is also so he won't get bored of the toy.

Keeps my 18month old and 3 year old cats both entertained. Great to be hung up on the door frame as it isn't reliant on you dangling it and they can play all day.

such a simple idea for a cat toy but keeps my little guy entertained for hours!

My 10yr old cat had one of these when he was a kitten and would play with it for hours. He just loved it!!!! We recently got a new 10 mth kitten and she also ADORES this toy. It is so much her favourite. When it has been taken off the door frame, she will find where it is and drag the birdie around the house. My husband found her halfway up the stairs with it the other day! We think this toy is so great, we have ordered a second one for upstairs for her to play with up there too.

I believe that more active cats like toys like this but cats wants me to play with them with this - the toy that only hangs alone doesn't intrest them much. But catnip got them more interested with this one! And I think that this toy is well made.
