Make sure that you and your dog stay safe when walking in the dark. When the days get shorter or the weather is grey and rainy visibility is reduced. The Illume Nite Neon dog coat is a great way to ensure your dog is visible. The entire back of the coat has a high viz neon yellow insert with reflecting strips. You can enjoy your walks without worrying that you and your dog cannot be seen.

 

The Illume Nite Neon dog coat is made from very light material. Your dog will hardly notice that it is wearing it, but it will be protected from the wind, damp and dirt.

It is available in a variety of sizes and has a fully adjustable strap around the chest. There is a drawstring with stopper on the collar and the leg loops make sure that the coat fits well and does not slip. The Air Flow mesh lining allows it to breathe.

Drivers and pedestrians alike will now be able to see you and your dog. The Illume Nite Neon dog coat protects your dog from the elements and ensures that it can be seen in the dark.

The total length of the coat is the back length (A) plus the height of the collar (B).
The neck circumference (C) should be measured around the base of neck.
The chest circumference (D) should be measured directly behind the front legs.
The coat width (E) is the measurement from the middle of the back to the middle of the back thigh x 2.
The total coat length (F) is measured from the front of the chest to the base of the tail.

Size guidance: Please make sure to measure the back length from the very base of the neck to the base of the tail (see diagram).
The dog shown in the diagram is a Hungarian Magyar Vizsla, which is wearing a size 50. The Labrador in the shop pic is wearing a size 55 and the Parson Russel a size 35.
If your dog's measurement is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.

Ideal for my Cavalier King Charles

I took someone else 's advice and ordered the 30 for my Cavalier and it is still a little bit long but next one down would be too short in the body. yet he measured almost 35 so they are very generous. He soon got used to the elastic under his back legs and trotted along happily. Does the job. Excellent service.

Great - but we had to adapt it

A great coat for a young fit muscle-y dog, but our elderly GSD needs full weather protection & can't lift her back legs easily. So we added shoulder covers - otherwise her shoulders would get soaked; we added a strip on the top to keep the belt in place and we cut the rear straps as they were so long they'd trip her up but also she is so unsteady on her feet it wasn't fair asking her to lift her legs each time we put it on/off. Instead we added narrow fit-lock buckles

Get a size smaller!

I have to small dogs, one with ~42cm back length and the other 33cm back length. I opted for a size 40 and a size 35... Turns out these coats are cut larger though! Both my dogs got lost in their intentional sizes. Fortunately, the size 35 fits my "larger" dog. I will need to order a size 30 for my smaller dog! Other than that I think this is a great product!

very tough and durable

great coat, I bought two of the size 40cm for my working cocker spaniels and put their harnesses on top and keeps them nice and dry from drizzle and wet grass, plus they stay in place through rolling and running about/through hedges, etc.. Easy to wash and dry as well

Look good but ran a size too large on my dogs

I just received these and am quite pleased with the look and quality. The dogs had no issue with putting these over their heads which was a worry. They do seem to run a size larger than I would normally buy for both my dogs - on the back length and chest circumference. To be seen how they hold up, stay in place and wash now.

Easy to put on

I haven't tested it in the rain yet but I tried it on my dog when it arrived and it was very easy to put on. I bought a size 30 for my 7 kg bichon frisé and it proved to be a perfect fit.

Excellent coat but too large

Just received the size 40 for my schnauzer , and the coat is excellent quality and just what is needed. However, although I measured my dog as per sizing, it is too big. I have been in touch with the company today and a size 35 is on its way. Excellent service .

Great coat

Great, lightweight coat, helps stop my springer getting too wet. The fact that it covers some of her tummy is good as she loves mud and puddles. She doesn't take as long to dry off now. Thanks to the reviews I bought the right size as they are a generous fit.

Excellent Dog Coat

I bought these coats for our Golden Retrievers and Barbets (French Water Dogs) both have thick coats, so didn't want warmth, just waterproof in the current terrible wet weather. Excellent, good fit, stays in place and keeps them dry, but not hot. Also excellent service from Zoo, when one of the coats had a slight fault a new one was sent quickly, no charge and didn't want the faulty one back. Recommend coat and company.

BRILLIANT SOLUTION

This coat is perfect for our Golden Doodle dog and he is a big boy, a very active 4 year old ! It is light but really keeps the rain off and he is happy wearing it too. He goes out in the pouring rain in the mountains and we only have to dry his legs and head,fantastic .It saves us a lot of time and electricity and worth every penny.The collar and chest protection work well too as does the velcro fixing.
