animonda Carny Adult Saver Pack 24 x 200g - cat wet food

It used to be a good product, I gave it to my two cats for at least a couple of years, but since they changed the packaging and probably the formula, the texture has changed—it's harder and has more fatty bits—and they won't eat it anymore. Now I have a huge stock and I don't know what to do with it.

None of my cats will eat it, and I have five. :( The meat is pretty dry, there’s no gravy in it at all.

I've been buying this food for a year now and I've noticed the quality keeps getting worse. There are loads of these hard and rubbery skins, and hard black lumps (probably some unprocessed offal). I have to mash the food up even more and pick out those rubbery and hard bits... you really have to be careful, unfortunately.

My 5-year-old cat hasn't been interested in this product at all.

Watch out if your cat has a chicken allergy. The description doesn't mention chicken as an ingredient. I have the food at home, and it says it contains 26% chicken...

My cat eats very little and then loses interest…🥲

Unfortunately, our newly adopted cat turns her royal nose up at this, even though this wet food is highly rated and was also recommended on the shelter’s website. I’m afraid it’s the coarse pâté texture. Whether I mix it or not, she leaves it and gets frustrated. She prefers fillets or pieces in sauce/jelly. Sadly, I made the mistake of ordering several packs straight away, so it’s best to test first before making a bigger purchase. Gift for the shelter!

My cat likes it fine, eats it quite slowly, but the smell of the food afterwards and around me really stinks.

I don't know what's going on, but my cat won't touch this food, eats the others though.

Unfortunately, my cat thinks the food (beef) is just awful… She actually threw up several times after eating it. The texture was so disgusting that it really took some effort to serve it. The beef & turkey hearts was also a disappointment because it contained chicken (which wasn’t mentioned on the tin).

I bought Animonda Carny 200g, and in the description it doesn’t say if it’s chunks or pâté, but since the tin shows chunks, I just assumed it was chunks. Instead, the unpleasant surprise was finding pâté inside, and my cats don’t like it. I’d like to ask for a refund—waste of money—but I doubt they’ll give me one, so I’ll just give it to the stray cats around here.

My cat doesn’t like it, and she usually eats everything—she’s not picky at all. But she just doesn’t like this tin and eats it without any enthusiasm.

I've been giving this brand to my cats for 3 years, they absolutely love it, but now you've changed the recipe and there are huge chunks of unblended meat inside, like bones, really hard and very dangerous. My cat almost choked on it!!
