catz finefood Pouches 8 x 85g - cat wet food

My cats ate em up. I don’t know why people are giving mediocre reviews. The quality and taste are there. It’s just on the cat whether they like it or not. Like people they have preferences and won’t like every food.

My cats love most of the Catz finefood flavors, but not eager on Beef and Duck. Seems to smell mint? I might be wrong. They have still eaten half of the pouche, but not so eagerly.

Unfortunately my cat won't touch it 😐

I find Catz Finefood to be a really high quality food and my cats love it. They prefer certain flavours - Lamm & Kaninchen (lamb & rabbit) is a favourite - but they like quite a few of the different Catz flavours. Maybe try a mixed saver pack so you can find out which flavours you cat/s love before buying 16.

Well, it looks good, and it smells good - but all three cats won't look at it. They sniff it and walk away. I've given it three stars as it looks/smells appealing and I don't know why mine won't eat it. I have to say the texture is a bit rubbery and it doesn't mash/break up that well with a fork. I had high hope of this one for my poorly boy......

The packaging design has changed, and along with it, vegetables and fruit additives have appeared in the ingredients... I avoid such foods because cats don’t need that much fibre, which they can’t process later. At first, Umami really liked these foods – chicken, lamb with horse meat – the plate was licked clean, the cat was happy and so was the owner. Now, I can’t order this food for her anymore – otherwise I end up throwing whole plates in the bin, untouched. The change in the recipe is for the worse 😣

The cat had been eating this food for years, but ever since they changed the packaging, problems started after eating it – the cat gets diarrhoea, the food smells bad, and there are more big chunks in it. On top of that, the cat developed an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, we’re forced to switch to different pouches now.

I've tried them all, he only eats the lamb one. He's been crazy about it for many years.

My cat used to eat these pouches really well, until I bought some new ones. Now he just sniffs them and walks away. I don't know if they've changed the recipe or some ingredient, but the fact is I have 15 pouches that my cat won't eat, when before he used to devour them.

With the packaging change, the formula changed too – after eating it (and they ate it reluctantly), my cats got diarrhoea. The food is now also full of large, hard pieces. Not worth the price.

Our tomcat loves Finefood Wild because he's allergic and can't tolerate chicken. With Finefood, what's on the pouch is actually what's inside. I like buying Finefood Wild, and I do so often.

I think this is one of the best (if not the best) wet foods available here. The ingredients are really good, and there’s no chicken or beef in it (not that there’s anything wrong with them, but it’s not ideal when half the food is just chicken or beef). It’s a complete food, and two pouches a day would cover my cat’s needs, although she gets one plus some dry food. Not to mention, my cat is quite picky but she still eats it (at least for now :D). It would be great if there was a 30x85g mixed pack available without chicken or beef. For example, rabbit, lamb, horse, venison, game – 30 pieces of 85g each.

My cat is quite picky when it comes to wet food—she gets bored quickly and turns her nose up at her bowl, but that's not the case with this one.

My kitty loves this food, and she's a bit picky. However, I'm a bit worried because sometimes I find hard pieces in the pouches.

New packaging and a clear drop in quality – thick, hard pieces of liver, and my cats got diarrhoea after eating sachets from the new packaging (even though they've been eating these sachets for years). I won't buy it again. I don't recommend it.

Good nutritional quality, this brand is recommended when you can't prepare homemade meals and want to avoid supermarket junk food.

Along with the change in packaging design, the manufacturer also decided to make the recipe worse. There are big chunks of fat in the food, and the cats don’t want to eat it.

For some time now, there have been more and more hard pieces, looking like lumps, appearing in the sachets. You have to carefully mash the food so the cat doesn’t get hold of them. Please, manufacturer, take care of this!!! My cat loves this food, but if it keeps happening, we’ll stop buying it for safety reasons.
