Felix As Good As It Looks Mega Pack 132 x 85g - cat wet food

The pouch sizes are smaller than we buy in the supermarkets in Ireland. But the biggest issue is the recipe is different. The pouches contain something completely different to those we buy here. The consistency, content and smell is different. Felix As Good As It Looks is our cat's go-to food, she loves it and rarely eats anything else. But these pouches are her last option and we have to supplement her food with other pouches. Won't be buying any more I'm afraid.

Used to be loved. For the past few weeks, all the cats suddenly started begging for more, they weren't satisfied with the same amount as before. Since the latest box, it's the opposite: every day there's food left over. Something's not right...

My four cats have always eaten Felix food. Lately, though, they just don't seem to get full anymore. They're now eating almost twice as much as before and still keep asking for more. It's really strange. Judging by the reviews, it seems I'm not the only one having this problem.

My experience is similar to others: the quality seems to have gone down. My cats don’t eat it as well, and I also feel like the meat is tougher. The senior cat and another one who usually has some mouth issues just drink the broth but leave the meat, which doesn’t happen with other varieties like Nature.

With the last few orders, we've noticed there's a lot more jelly—half or even more of the pouch is just jelly, which means the cats need twice as much to feel full. I've been buying Felix for 10 years, but sadly I'll have to switch to something else.

I've noticed that in the Felix Fantastic pouches there's less and less meat, fish, or chicken each time—it's just jelly now. After they took away 15g from the total, now they're removing the solid bits and just leaving the liquid. It's shameful.

Strangely enough, the cats turn their noses up at this mega pack. But when it comes to the smaller (shop-bought?) packs, they eat like there’s no tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I received two different packages: one was indeed the box mentioned above, but the other was a different kind. Sadly, my cat doesn’t like that one. I don’t understand why they didn’t send two of the same, since that’s what I ordered. The difference between the two is obvious—one is purple, the other is red. They even mark it clearly for those who might not notice, but apparently the packer didn’t care much about that. I can only hope that next time I’ll actually get what I put in my cart!
