Broke twice.
Replaced the first fountain after a few months, the second one stopped working as well after a few months.
This is sold with a French plug so an adapter is needed. I suspect it has something to do with that.

Broke after a month :(
It was on sale & ceramic so I decided to upgrade my old plastic mini catit fountain! But my cats did not drink from it and the motor broke after one month!!! Plus, it is quite challenging to clean as the cable has to pass through a part of the fountain that is wet when disassembling... Either the design is really stupid or I am.

Great design, poor quality
The fountain itself is very nicely designed, but I ordered a drinking fountain with a water pump. The pump only worked for about a week before it stopped working altogether. Now I've been in contact with Zooplus for days about this complaint. Instead of helping, they're telling me to take apart a cheap pump from China because there might be limescale, and only then would there be a chance for a solution. No, that's not customer service.

Pump Defective
The fountain is quiet and easy to clean, but the pump is made very cheaply, so it needs to be replaced after a few months, which really affects the overall price. We've had the fountain for 4 years and now the 5th pump has broken. The last one was replaced in January (about 6 months ago).

I think this fountain was pretty bad. It was really fiddly to put together and get working. I’ve used it for four days and it’s already broken. Disgusting
Thought it was a great fountain when I bought it – mainly because of the ceramic. But apart from being a decoration, it’s useless. The filter smells awful after just a few days in the water and doesn’t do its job at all – the water gets slimy after only 2 days, the whole ceramic bowl is slimy... even though I clean it regularly. The pump is really loud if the water level is low or the dome slips, and then there’s the plastic tube: 2 cm for a 10 cm high dome??? Someone clearly wasn’t great at maths... Speechless, what a shame.

Warning ⚠️ Chemical smell
The hose and filter smell extremely strongly of plastic!!! Apparently, despite the many reviews pointing out this problem (since 2018)!!! Trixie still hasn’t done anything about it.
The cats won’t drink from it; they must definitely notice the plastic smell.
Plastic that reeks like this usually contains hormone-altering substances (plasticisers) and so on. I got a terrible headache from it!! I wanted to do something good for my pets, not harm them. And I feel sorry for the poor people who have to make this fountain.
