Cat Mate Filter

I ordered the set of replacement filters and received the version without the blue protective casing, just a stiffer fabric cover, which is supposed to work the same as the others? They don't have charcoal granules inside... I'm not convinced they'll be as effective.

Overall, it’s a nice drinking fountain and both cats like to drink from it. At first, I received a plug with loose pins, but that was sorted out. Now, within a year, the pump has broken, despite good maintenance and regular descaling. So, not really durable.

These filters are much worse than the ones before, those were great—such a shame.

The old version, with "Cate Mate" written in red letters on the front, is really good. Quiet and has worked properly for years. The new one has a different motor and starts making a loud buzzing noise quickly when there’s less than a full amount of water in it.
