SureFlap XXL Microchip Pet Flap

After many years of Sureflap use, I found a neighbor (non chipped)cat coming out of the cat door. It had apparently followed my cat into the door before it locked or my cat was close enough to the door that it unlocked allowing the neighbor cat access through the door. So this doesn't completely prevent a non micro chipped animal to enter.

The catflap works well but when is closed there is a gap at the edges where cold air comes in constantly. Unless u living in a worm country I wouldn't recommend it.

My cats have had a cat flap for 13 years and always used it without any problems, but it never had an outside lock! Now I had to activate it because of strange cats coming in, and my cats won’t go through anymore because the mechanism scares them! As soon as they put their heads in the tunnel, it makes a really loud click and they back away and run off! Now they don’t want to use it even without the lock! I’ve tried every suggestion out there for weeks! Nothing works! HELP!

Easy to programme. But I’m very disappointed with the insulation. The brush seals are too small and let a lot of air through the cat flap door.
