Biokat's Organic Care Plant Fibres

I thought I'd switch to natural materials—better for the environment and for my back. But I regretted it straight away; this has smelled awful from day one. Still, I had to lug heavy rubbish bags back again.

The litter is very good but it attracts moths.

Perfect example of a product getting worse. The previous version was really good, it absorbed urine and neutralised smells. This litter reeks horribly as soon as there's urine in it. The clumps stay wet, probably because of that. All the rest of the litter takes on this stench, the cats are disgusted themselves and refuse to dig in it, sometimes they'd rather pee next to the litter box than in it. Never again, absolute disaster.

The litter is so fine and light that it ended up all over the flat, even across several floors. I've never experienced anything like this before. Even rabbit bedding is coarser than this...

It smells terrible when it comes into contact with urine. It has the consistency of rough sawdust, spreads all over the house, and sticks to the cat’s fur.

My three Maine Coons had an allergic reaction to the cat litter, scratching like crazy, and the fur on their ears was gone :( The litter stuck to their fur and got spread all over the apartment, I had to vacuum everything three times a day… Never again!

Why did you change the previous compostable litter?! It didn’t smell at all and was perfect. This litter is just poor quality. I won’t be buying it again.
