Biokat's Organic Care Plant Fibres

Unfortunately, the quality has gotten really bad. The colour has changed from light yellow to a dark beige. There's an awful lot of dust. My Helga is a tuxedo cat. She’s come out of the litter box several times now covered in a thick layer of dust. Not only is that bad for her breathing, but overall it’s pretty unhygienic, isn’t it?! It does form clumps, but as soon as I try to scoop them out, they just fall apart into loads of little pieces. That makes cleaning the litter box much harder.

I've never had such good clumps before, but my house now reeks of litter box and there's cat litter scattered everywhere.

The first time I used it, I was happy with it—it clumped nicely and kept the smell in. I’ve no idea what happened, but after ordering the big pack, this litter is just awful. The clumps fall apart and my cat drags loads of it out on her fur, even though she’s short-haired and I have a mat to catch it. Really disappointed with it.

At first, it looked good, no nasty smell. But because it’s quite light, it sticks a lot to my cat’s paws and also to his tail, which means cat litter ends up all over my house. Not ideal. The clumps also stuck to the litter tray. I have an automatic litter box, so unfortunately that didn’t work well either. I’ll quickly go back to the old litter. Sadly, that’s not as good for the environment...
