AI-generated summary based on reviews added by customers

This cat litter has its fans, with some praising its clumping ability and odor control. However, many users found it tracks all over the house, sticking to paws and requiring constant cleaning. Some cats even refused to use it, and others noted a change in formula making it messy and hard to clean. Despite this, a few still appreciate its eco-friendly nature and long-lasting qualities.

Best Oko Plus

I like this product because not only can I flush the clumps down the toilet, I can then empty the tray into the composter. It seems to trap odours well too. There is a tracking problem but its no worse than the most expensive cat litter available and you don't need to use as much as some of the cheaper brands.

Good but spreads around

It's a very good cat litter, clumps well, and doesn't smell too much but the litter does spread around, which is a bit annoying.

very good but tracks badly

other wise i would have given it a very good. i will keep on with it though as it has no horrible smell, appears to last much longer than the sofisicat i used before.

pretty good stuff, best i've found

good for deep litter trays as it clumps but does end up everywhere!

The best I've used so far

Best clumping litter I've found. Makes it easy to scoop out - and flushing down the toilet is much easier than bagging and binning. In the summer this will avoid the dustbin being a no-go area due to smell. Can't understand the comments about clumps being too soft to take out. A standard scoop picks them up and the unused litter falls through the holes.

A good product

One star lost for the tracking (I have found bits far and wide) but generally speaking this litter lasts and stays fresh for ages.

Absorbent and flushable but oh! that tracking

I have tried most types of litter since my elderly cat became enforcably housebound; this one is good on absorbency, not bad at odour control, clumps well and - best of all - is flushable but.....due to its light weight it is the worst for tracking (even with the use of a special mat in front of the tray) that I have come across and can be found all over the house, necessitating vacuuming several times per day.

Good, but ...

Plus points of Cats Best Oko Plus: 1. My 2 oriental type cats prefer this litter. 2. Natural product, non toxic, safe for my cats. 3. Masks odours very well and has a pleasant, natural woody/pine smell. 4. Clumps well and is easy to deal with. 5. Environmentally friendly and biodegradeable. Minus points of Cats Best Oko Plus: 1. Tracks a lot. Even though I have a large mat by the tray, I am sweeping up bits of cat litter two or three times a day and still finds bits on the carpet and sometimes even upstairs. 2. It is a bit dusty. 3. I find that it does not last anywhere near as long as the manufacturer states. I use a jumbo sized litter tray, which gives my cats room to turn around. It takes 5 litres of litter each time and I change the tray completely every 5 to 7 days. I have read other reviews which advise that you can save the litter after removing the clumps and put it back in the tray after cleaning, but personally, I don't and wouldn't do this. A 10 litre bag lasts my 2 cats a maximum of 2 weeks. I have recently tried the Cats Best Gold litter, which is in pellet form rather than chips, designed not to cling to the fur of long haired cats. I would also give that 4 stars. It does not track anywhere near as much as the original and is not so dusty and possibly lasts a day or so longer between complete changes as it does not break down so quickly, however, my cats don't seem to like the feel of it under their paws quite so much and we have much (noisy) raking in the litter tray and it is a little more expensive than the ordinary Cats Best Oko Plus. Overall, both are good, but have their advantages and drawbacks. You pays your money and you makes your choice.

Very good, but tracks a bit

I would have given this product five stars because it's the best litter I've ever used. The only little minus comes from tracking: it's lightweight and therefore it gets quite easily outside the litter box. But, it clumps well, keeps the smells away a lot better than average litters, is biodegradable, lightweight and very economical. I definitely recommend this litter.

Very little smell

This litter is very good, there is very little smell from it but it does track everywhere. Really easy to use as you can just flush the used stuff down the loo - good value for money

Good, but a lot of dust!

This litter works well with my two BSH kittens. They seem to like the feel. Very convenient to use. Clumps very well. Traps smell? Yes, up to a point, but there's no magic in this world! I found that, my cats like me to put a lot of litter down before they would use it. Needs changing completely once every 7-10 days. Downside is that, there is a lot of dust with this litter, and I seem to be allergic to it. It tracks a fair bit as well, so I need to hover everyday.

Wonderful stuff, but tracks through house very badly.

This is the best litter I've used in 20 years - no smell, economical and FLUSHABLE, but it does track badly, and you need to hoover every day. On the plus side, you never throw any unsoiled litter away, just top it up. It seems expensive, I know, but 40l lasts my 3 indoor cats 8 weeks. £2.50 a week for 3 cats who never go out - wonderful value! I'm going to give Cat's Best a try as a friend tells me it's just as good as Okoplus, but, being in pellet form, hardly tracks at all.

Fantastic product

Quite new to looking after cats but I am very impressed with this product. Really economical, very good in terms of odour control, clumping and never had any complaints from my 2 bengals. Only reason for 4/5 rating is that I have hard flooring in the house and the cats manage to bring out some litter everytime which is a pain to clean up. I will try some alternatives and feedback how I get on! A very good product.

Best for Smell..or lack of...

I have tried every litter on the market and this one is the best if the smell factor is of ultimate importance. It also cleans economically and neatly. The ONLY fault I find with this otherwise perfect product , is it " tracks". It is very light and sticks to paws easily......which sends me mad! I live in a multi-cat (Ragdoll Breeding) household so everything is very exagerated.

Good

Pros: eco-friendly, easy to remove Cons: smells damp and like sawdust if not changed right away

Very good cat litter

Great cat litter, the cats are happy, it clumps nicely and smells like wood. The pieces used to be a bit bigger, so now they spread it around the flat more, but it's still good and much better than the original bentonite one.

Decline in quality

Less clumping and more dusty, it gets everywhere in the flat, but always has a pleasant smell. The quality has gone down over time (especially with the larger packs of litter).

The best option I've found so far

It absorbs odours very well and clumps quite a lot, so it's easy to clean up urine. At first it might seem expensive, but if you keep the litter box clean, it lasts a long time, so in the end you actually save money. The only downside is that it's quite light and sticks to their paws, leaving bits around the house.

Good natural bedding

We've tried lots of natural litters and haven't found any that are completely convincing, but this one is among the better ones. Clumping and odour control are decent. We've had the best results when we mix this litter with a finer-grained one.

Not Quite Perfect Litter

I switched from bentonite litter to Cats Best because the bentonite litter was too heavy. My cat lady loves Cats Best. She buries her business really well and there’s no smell of cat toilet at all. I’m only giving 4 stars because it’s quite dusty. I always buy the big 40-litre bag for two litter boxes. When the bag is empty and there’s only a little litter left in the box, I throw out the remaining litter completely and refill with fresh litter.

Good value for money

I discovered this litter two years ago, in 2024, as a foster carer for an association, and so far I’m happy with it and so are my little ones. So I’ll keep ordering from you as long as your prices stay competitive and delivery times are respected.

Good results overall

Have you changed something? I find them less absorbent now.

Cat's Best Original

We chose this litter because of our sick cat, previously we used bentonite and then tofu litter. The tofu is really good but with 4 cats it’s just too expensive. With this litter, it costs half as much as the tofu. It clumps pretty well, but you shouldn’t scoop it out straight away because it falls apart—you need to wait for it to set properly. The smell is a bit odd but at least it doesn’t make dust. That was the main thing for us. The 40L bag is enough for 4 cats for a month.

Best I can find so far

I've tried different types of litters from Zooplus. I would say this one is still optimal considering everything. I used silicone for about 1–2 years, but then the smell of urine became too much too quickly. It's less dusty than some others. You can also flush it down the toilet, although I don't do that anymore now that I have 3 cats. I just take it to the waste bin in a small bag.

Sand... Wood... I don't know

I bought for the first time. I saw good reviews (up until the date I bought, there weren’t any of the bad ones that showed up in June). I bought it because we use cat litter pellets and they’re really expensive... Today I filled the litter boxes with this litter. I’m not sure if I made a good purchase. We bought the biggest bag and yes, there’s a lot of sawdust... For now, my cats used it, they peed... The pee clumped into perfect little balls. You have to put a good amount in the litter box, so far so good.

Cat's Best Litter

I have two cats and I've been using this litter for years now. It clumps well and doesn't smell bad. The only downside is that it sticks to their paws and I find it all over the house. However, in a short time the price has gone up by about 10 euros. I find that really absurd and unjustified, and I don't think I'll be buying it again.

Clumps very well

I think the litter is really good, the clumps don’t fall apart. The downside is that unfortunately it doesn’t bind odours and quite a bit of it doesn’t stay in the litter tray. Our cats don’t like the included Trinkfein.

The packaging is easy to use and the material absorbs well. I’ve been using this version for a few weeks and I recommend it.

Perfect

I know the product, there’s way less dust compared to the old one I used for my cats, it’s perfect, no smell and more economical.

Cat litter

I’m very happy with this cat litter because it was recommended to me back then and my cats get on really well with it. Most importantly, it clumps very well and doesn’t smell bad either.
