Gets stuck everywhere and tracks everywhere. It does the job in that they can pee and poop in it.

Wanted to try something new, so I read some external reviews. Product disapointed, not sticking enough together and a nasty smell in no time. Nope...

The product itself works well: it absorbs the liquid and keeps the smell. But it is not for long-haired cats. It catches the long hair of my cat and sticks to it. As result, the particles (including the one with poo) is all over the house.

This used to be great. I'm not sure if they've changed the formulation (grains look smaller than before) but the recent batch gives really bad tracking. You find pieces of litter everywhere just after one use - floor, sofa, table, you name it! It also turns into dust very quickly. I hope these slightly negative reviews can bring back the old version.

I have been ordering this for a long time because I was totally convinced. The odours were locked in and the clumping mechanism worked great. But this has changed in recent times. It doesn't clump up properly and there are always some bits of unfinished business left. You have to use more and more litter to keep everything eat and tidy. At this price point I am really not convinced anymore. It's very expensive for my four cats.

Careful with measurements 40 litres is actually 17,2kgs and so on. Website should put the description really clear.

This litter forms very loose clumps which crumble apart if you're not careful. It's also very dusty and tracks everywhere. My cat which loves to dig comes out of the litter box all dusty, which doesn't happen with the smart pellet litter I use in the other tray. At least it doesn't smell.

this was a 5 star product until they changed to a new receipe. the new receipe tends to go way to dusty and appears smaller which makes cleaning much harder. their other product the pellet version we tried but is also a new receipe and is thinner and doesn't clump at all. I don't normally write reviews but I feel so disappointed.

Ordered litter as usual, the last order I have noticed some changes to the product structure but it was nothing major. This time, unfortunately it does not clump !! It sticks together like hard paddle. Also pellets or how to name it with this products are bigger so maybe that is one of the reason? I'm not happy at all and still one big bag has left .

I really enjoyed that this litter is biodegradable, smells quite nice and at first it is of a good consistency, but after as soon as a couple of days it splits into very tiny particles, dust is everywhere and I have to clean the floor several times in a day.

I wouldn't recommend Cat's Best Oko Plus litter to those who are sensitive to dust/are asthmatic. This litter tracks all over the place, and I mean, absolutely everywhere in the house. I have had chronic chest infections and bronchitis-like coughing whilst using this litter. Soon after I stopped using it for a while however, my chest was a lot better. Then I used the litter again several months later and the chest congestion came back, just like the last time. That's how I finally made the link. Other than that, yes Cat's best is economical and is a great clumping litter--just not meant for dust-sensitive people, furry and otherwise.

I tried this litter and my first impressions were very positive. Nice smell faintly of pine, so pure and clean and the litter clumps well. My cats did not like it at all. They "went" outside the litter tray which led my son to believe that the tray was dirty so each time he found an "accident" he changed the entire tray - we got through 40 litres in under 2 weeks! I changed to Extreme (sold on this site) cats loved it and no more accidents

Hello, As far as the smell goes, it's fine. The clumping side works perfectly. What doesn't work is that my cats track it all over the house... I can't buy this litter again. Too bad.

It clumps the urine, the "rest" gets covered by the dust. After cleaning the toilet several times, the litter breaks down more and more... disappointed! And yes, dust settles like a fine blanket on everything around.

Same opinion for Cat's Best Original and Greenwoods plant fibre since they're basically the same litter. - Not economical at all! The bin fills up in 1.5 days instead of 3 with Biokat Organic Fibre Wood - Lots of dust/powder after... 2 days! (Not recommended for asthmatic cats) - Stays "dirty". The broken pellets are so big it's impossible to remove everything that's soiled... - Not much litter outside the tray, that's true, but it's replaced by dust... which is even worse.

After years of using Benek Corn, I thought I'd give this another try. Well, I sure found out. We were away on holiday for a week. My regular cat sitter immediately told me that the clumps with urine fall apart straight away and are really hard to scoop. On top of that, I'm really glad I had robot vacuum cleaners running daily both upstairs and downstairs. Both are completely full of granules. Even in the attic, the stuff is everywhere. And our litter boxes are downstairs... Awful stuff. Back to Benek!

I don't know what happened to this litter. I've been ordering it for 8 years, but the last few orders just aren't the same as before. It doesn't clump as well as it used to, and the clumps fall apart. I thought maybe it was just one bad batch, but unfortunately it's happened several times now and it's still the same problem. I think I'll go back to Corn Cat. That one clumps much better, even though it's dustier.

Much more economical than bentonite litter. With diarrhoea, it could have been hidden under less than 20 litres and it still would have stunk. Generally an unpleasant smell, and if you have to change all the litter so often, it's not really economical or cheaper than others. Biggest negative: the cats don't like it at all. Even my expert digger tends to run away. With my long-haired cat, the litter always got stuck in her fur, very uncomfortable. I could flush the poo down the toilet, which was practical. The litter spreads around the flat...

I've been using this for years. Yes, it does scatter, but that's the case with any other litter too. Still, it seems like something has changed in the formula lately. It doesn't clump nearly as well, so the whole tray gets 'contaminated', turns dark, and starts to smell quickly. I scoop several times a day, and I used to have to completely change the contents of the tray much less often. I could just keep topping it up because it clumped so nicely. It's a real shame because I haven't found an alternative yet!

Our kitten spreads these way-too-fine granules everywhere because they get stuck in everything. Not recommended...

The product itself is good, no complaints there. The 1 star is for the deliberate false claim about the volume. This is NOT 5 litres. If you're being generous, it's 2.5 litres at most.

At first, I was very pleased with Cat’s Best Original: it clumps well, controls odours, and the fact that it’s biodegradable was a real plus. However, after about a month, a lot of fine dust started to build up at the bottom of the tray. Every time I cleaned it, a lot of dust would rise, which made using it unpleasant. I clean the tray twice a day and wash it weekly, so I expected more consistent performance. Unfortunately, I won’t be buying it again.

I used to be so happy with this clumping litter and had been using it for years. Then suddenly, the whole house was covered in litter, and it kept sticking to my cats’ paws—they spent ages trying to get it off. I gave it another chance, but nothing changed. I’ve switched to a different litter now. Something in its formula must have changed.

Until now, this was the best litter and my cats loved it, but with this last order you can really see the difference—the grains are different and much bigger. Right now I have two litter boxes: one with the old litter (the only one the cats want to use now) and the other with the new one, which they haven’t touched for days. Now what am I supposed to do with 40 litres of litter?

Half a year ago, this litter was really good – cheaper, clumped well, had a pleasant wood scent, and wasn’t dusty. The only downside was that my cat spread it everywhere. But three months ago, I ordered it again and it was extremely dusty, and my cat developed an allergy because of all the dust. I tried to sift the litter a bit, and the amount of dust that came out was awful! I ordered another 40-litre pack, hoping maybe the previous one was just a bad batch. But that one was just as horribly dusty, so from now on I won’t be buying this litter anymore!

The litter smells more like dust, as if it’s been sitting somewhere musty for a while. It doesn’t have that fresh wood scent like it used to.

I bought the large 40L pack and the litter turned out to be more coarsely ground, so it doesn’t clump very well.

Even with the litter mat, the cat spreads litter all over the flat, which is a nightmare. We don’t have this problem with other types of litter.

It’s a good litter, but the bag arrived split open and it was everywhere in the box. Not such a great idea to have it delivered after all. Might as well just buy it in store…
