I bought this litter on the strength of the rave reviews on this site but I think I must be using a different product! The clumping is poor & it's very hard to differentiate the parts saturated with moisture & the parts that are still dry. Also doesn't seem to stick to faeces so the smell isn't masked. I'm going to keep to Extreme Classic Cat Litter which is by far the best clumping litter I've found. Won't be buying Cat's Best again.

It clumps the urine, the "rest" gets covered by the dust. After cleaning the toilet several times, the litter breaks down more and more... disappointed! And yes, dust settles like a fine blanket on everything around.

After years of using Benek Corn, I thought I'd give this another try. Well, I sure found out. We were away on holiday for a week. My regular cat sitter immediately told me that the clumps with urine fall apart straight away and are really hard to scoop. On top of that, I'm really glad I had robot vacuum cleaners running daily both upstairs and downstairs. Both are completely full of granules. Even in the attic, the stuff is everywhere. And our litter boxes are downstairs... Awful stuff. Back to Benek!

The product itself is good, no complaints there. The 1 star is for the deliberate false claim about the volume. This is NOT 5 litres. If you're being generous, it's 2.5 litres at most.

I used to be so happy with this clumping litter and had been using it for years. Then suddenly, the whole house was covered in litter, and it kept sticking to my cats’ paws—they spent ages trying to get it off. I gave it another chance, but nothing changed. I’ve switched to a different litter now. Something in its formula must have changed.

I bought the large 40L pack and the litter turned out to be more coarsely ground, so it doesn’t clump very well.

Even with the litter mat, the cat still manages to spread litter all over the flat – it’s a nightmare. We don’t have this problem with other types of litter.

Since I kept reading about how amazing this cat litter is and I’m currently having issues with my usual brand, I thought I’d give it a try. The smell is so overpowering, I barely wanted to go into my bathroom. My cats aren’t too keen on it either. What bothers me most is that it takes ages for a clump to form, and it’s also much dustier than I expected. I honestly can’t understand the hype around this product at all.

The litter has a terrible smell, it stinks like paint, you can smell it all over the house, it's awful, I have no idea how we're going to use it up... Clumping is poor, you either have to cover it with more litter to scoop anything, and at the bottom the litter sticks to the tray with urine.

Cat’s Best used to be low in dust. Unfortunately, it has become much finer over time and now creates a lot of dust. Because of this, we’ll have to switch to a different cat litter, even though we’d rather not. Health comes first. It’s a real shame, as it clumps well and is odourless.

Ordered it because of dust, but wow, it spreads everywhere and I don't find it economical to use.

The litter is very uncomfortable, it's small, doesn't form clumps and sticks to the tray. The same brand also has a wooden one, which is more acceptable. I change it every 1-2 days.

So-called "Limited time offer: Cat's Original litter now available at an economical price" but it's very expensive for just 2kg of litter. Otherwise, Cat's Best litter is good—clumping, no added scent, and dust-free. However, don't expect it to absorb the smell of number twos.

I used to buy this litter for years because it clumped really well and didn’t release any dust, but lately the quality has dropped a lot. Now it falls apart easily and ends up as fine sand, which is terrible for my cat who has asthma. I wouldn’t recommend it as it is now.

This litter used to be great value for money, but it keeps getting more expensive, and now it’s the second time the bag has arrived really torn with litter all over the box.

We’ve been using Cats Best for about 15 years. Back then, we switched because it was “low-dust,” and that was true. But those days are gone. The quality has clearly gone downhill a lot. There are loads of tiny crumbs—almost like sand—in the litter now, and it’s just as dusty as regular supermarket litter. If the manufacturer doesn’t do something about it, we’ll have to look for an alternative! Pity.
