Best cat litter ever. Have been using it for a couple of years now...covers smells and clumps better than any other cat litter we've tried in the past, no plans to change. Both cats have never had any problems with it, so a little surprised to hear others did. Also like the eco credentials...we chuck it all in the compost!
My cat wasn't too happy with his previous litter, like most he is a clean boy and unless I cleaned it out every hour of the day he would cry out. I decided to take a risk and go for this, something different. He loves it! And so do I! My boy is a massive Ragdoll and with that comes big wees but the tray is bone dry so cleaning isn't such a chore, I can easy lift out the clumps and poos twice a day. Best of all the litter is so fine that it can be picked up by the Hoover/Brush very easily.
Have two indoor cats. Got the 6.7kg bag. It lasted 20 days. Extremelly bad in trailing. The smell was horrible on the 20th day. Badly clumping. Was expecting more for 17 euros. Going to try another litter and wont be buying this one again..
A 12.7kg bag lasts four months for two indoor cats. The clumping is excellent, the litter is flushable, and there's barely any tracking beyond the bathroom. I can't see myself changing brands at all!
I have six cats and have tried lots of different litters, but this really is the worlds best cat litter. Expensive, but lasts for ages, so works out just a bit more expensive than rubbish cat litters.
I really would not use anything else. Worth every penny as it works out cheaper than any other.
I am amazed at the negative reviews for this cat litter! Yes, it is more expensive than other brands, however, it lasts so much longer that it works out more economical to use than even the cheapest litter! I have two cats, a large Siberian and a tiny Devon Rex and they both love this litter - Polly even eats it when it is first changed! It clumps brilliantly, I remove the lumps and waste twice a day, morning and night and also clear any poo's immediately, the litter left is like new!
Absolutely love this litter. We used to use silicone litter but it smelled really bad, didn't last long, and stuck to the cats' paws really bad. This one is amazing. None of the problems mentioned before. Very easy to clean. We buy the super strength one as there are 4 kitties using the litter box.
I've used this litter for years, but recently it's become very dusty, and my beautiful black cat comes out of the litter box looking quite grey from the dust. I clean the litter twice a day, or more, but the dust is very annoying. It's an inferior product to what it was a few years ago. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!
I've tried loads of cat litter for my cat Ziggy and I prefer the clumping ones since they last longer, doesn't leave any smell at all AND is fresher for us , the cat and the flat. This is natural so no weird added stuff and very easy to manage - when ziggy been to the toilet, i just scoop up the ball of pee, no mess! it really IS the best cat litter in the world!
No more smells and so economic to use. We have two large house cats and were spending a fortune on cat litter and still had a house that always smelt vaguely of cat poo !! No more !! Two giant covered litter trays and a sack of The Worlds Best Cat Litter ( for multiple cats) and the problem was solved. Every morning and evening we just scoop out the cat mess , straight down the loo and it's perfectly clean and smell free for the next day. The giant sack lasts us 6 weeks for two cats so that is only about £4 a week ! Well worth every penny. And no more lugging heavy cat litter home from the shops. It's delivered straight to our front door . Thank you Zooplus
Ok, so I was very skeptical at first. I was put off by the price a bit but with 3 indoor cats making horrible messes with clay based litters and refusing to use wood based I was at my wits end. I read most of the review on here and decided to try it. This really is the best litter I have used.It is light, very low in dust and gentle on paws. All 3 of my cats like it, even the fussy one. It is highly absorbent but doesn't stick to the tray. It is flushable, which means no more heavy bin bags and worry about refuse. The cats do track it about a bit, not as much as other litters and I have mats to collect the worst. That is just the nature of litter really. If you really can't afford Worlds Best, try Super Benek, also on here. I tried thebtwonand preferred WB but the Benek stuff is pretty good. On the whole I wholly recommend this litter. It has made litter tray cleaning time so much better
More expensive than your regular litters found in the supermarket, but it lasts longer and is easily disposed off. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Best cat litter if tried! It is expensive but lasts and lasts! Therefore it works out to be quite reasonable. Clumps are easy to remove and it helps that I can flush it down the toilet. I do have 4 cats so I never flush it all at once, that would be asking for trouble! You would need to be sensible about the amount you flush at any one time. Delivery is always quick and as the economy packs are heavy it is soooo helpful to have it brought right to my door. Thank you Zooplus!
didnt know whether to purchase because of the price but after using a supermarket wood pellet litter and having to change it almost every other day was costing a lot. My cat took to it straight away and it clumped amazingly and didn't stick to the bottom of the tray, I managed to pick out the clumps with a scoop without trouble no smell at all. It does track a little if u have a cat that likes to dig around for ages but isn't painful if trodden on unlike the silica crystals. I will definitely be purchasing the bigger bag of this as well as a covered litter tray to help with tracking it's definitely worth the price and zoo plus is a great place to buy it from excellent delivery service
... if it wasn't for the price I would settle for this litter forever! I use it in a litter box with filters. After trying Tigerino silica (ok for me) and Cat's best Nature gold (it was really bad... falling apart every time) I am ecstatic with the clumping power of this one. It has quite fine grains, leaving a nice clump which sticks very well together and doesn't contaminate the rest of the litter. All the excess sand falls through the scoop very well, making it very efficient. even the poo gets well "coated" so it doesn't smell (I had serious problems with Cat's Best on this). the litter itself might have a slightly stronger smell, but no comparison with the smell of poo that you would get otherwise (despite the filters). The excellent clumping means that it stays clean, so you will have to use less of it and just add some every once in a while. I think this would work very well with one of those "self cleaning litter boxes" that needs spinning. One more thing.. all the litters i have tried leave tracking. I think my siberians just have big paws! If you can afford it, I can't praise this enough.
I wouldn't call this litter "dust-free" because, as good as the clumping is, the granules do break down into a powder as with most other litters, so I get dusty pawprints on my sofa. However, the clumping IS excellent, it's flushable, and there's relatively little granule tracking. I've tried Sanicat silica, Oko plus, supermarket clay, and this is definitely the best yet. I've got a big boy who makes enormous poos and a little girl who is very fussy about her tray and this seems to keep them both happy.
I have been using this since we got our ragdoll kitten and it is impressive stuff. It clumps beautifully and the fact you can wash it down the loo makes it so convenient. If it wasn't for the price I would not look for alternatives. So 5 for the product, 2 for the price. I would give it 4 over all and invite all to buy the Benek clumping biodegradable stuff as it is much cheaper and trails even less than World's Best.
This is truly, by far, the best cat litter I have ever tried. We only had the cat since early November, he was accustomed to Catsan non clumping, but we soon changed him to a clumping type and soon after that to one that advertised itself as the best in the world and the only one that could be flushed down the loo. With all three I had nothing but litter all over the house, as they would stick to my cats paws like glue and then free itself anywhere! After reading the reviews I thought "well, it's expensive but if it stops him from spreading it around, then it'll be worth it". I bought this offer in Lavander, started it off by adding some to the then current litter, to get him accustomed to the smell. As if by magic, and with only a handful of this, there was no more smell and instead, a gentle breeze of lavander wrapped the dining room (where the box is), very pleasant. Soon after that I changed the whole tray and I haven't seen any litter on the floor at all, aside from a very few bits on the tray rug. It clumps incredibly well and dry, so no more dirty scoop, there's absolutely no smell whatsoever and I think this is definitely the best litter ever. Thank you very much!
Purchase price may be higher than some but you get what you pay for and this is longer lasting than some others. Odour free and easy to scoop. Whilst the vendor advises that some cats may prefer gradual change from their previous litter, because of silica concerns about respiratory issues we changed all 4 litter trays 100% in one fell swoop. No problems at all.
How do you rave about cat litter? It was recommended to me by a friend and I think it's great, it clumps neatly so it's easy to remove the waste, it doesn't smell horrible and actually masks the smell of the wee and the poo (you can get the Super variety and that has it's own smell to help mask more but I didn't need that) My cat uses it and he is very fussy about his litter so go with Dave and buy this litter!
I look after cats for a living and have come across lots and lots of different litters. I really do think this is the best and recomend it to all. The clumps just lift out and can be flushed down the loo. I don't have to spend time brushing all the escaped litter bits outside the tray. I have only ever had one comment from a customer that there cats liked to eat it rather than use it but thats it ! My cat loves it and so do I !
We have 16 rescue cats including 3 blind kittens as well as other babies with problems we have been using the worlds best litter for over 2 years and it is by far the best product available
This cat litter is the best I have used and having run a boarding cattery before we retired I have used quite a few different ones. It clumps well so leaves very little soiled litter in the tray and it absorbers odour quickly. Would certainly recommend
I really like this cat litter, it has a smell I find pleasant, when my cats have used it there is no odour. The bags are easy to handle & light enough. The litter lasts for ages, I clean it every time one of my cats use it so it stayes fresh for them. There is also very little tracking, as its a very fine litter & doesn't get stuck in my cats paws. It is expensive, but worth it. Also biodegradable. So I'm happy. 😄
This is great stuff. Absorbs odour completely. So easy to scoop out solids, and pee which very quickly forms tight solid clumps. The walls and base of the litter tray are left bone dry. The remaining litter in the tray lasts days. I tend to clean out the tray thoroughly once a week, and twice-daily 'gardening' only takes seconds. Pop the stuff straight down the loo, clumps immediately dissolve and everything flushes away fine. I particularly like the fact it's all natural with a pleasant smell of grain/corn. Thoroughly recommended, and the Zooplus service is absolutely first class.
There are cheaper litters out there but this litter is well worth the price. I like the fact that it's eco-friendly and non-toxic. You don't need to use very much - in fact I find it works better if I put a fairly shallow layer in the tray - so a large bag lasts ages. It clumps very efficiently - the resulting lumps can simply be scooped away, usually without breaking up. It 'coats' the solid matter and reduces odour. My cats love it - the size of the individual grains of litter seems to suit them well. The only way this could be better would be if it it produced no dust at all - it does produce a small amount, but it's a minor complaint about an otherwise excellent product.
It is more expensive, but definitely worth the price, no more messing around, clean and easy! And when my cat licks her paws, I know that its not toxic.
Bought this some years ago. And then stopped buying it because of the seemingly high cost! No other make has even come near to the quality and usability of this litter. I am now buying it again. It's worth every penny....and really is safe to flush down the loo.....but DO NOT put the WHOLE tray down at once!!!! I have one happy cat smiling at me!!!
Although this litter clumped well and flushed fine, i found that the smell of the cats pee etc was quite bad even after a only a few minutes. I prefer Applaws Nature’s Calling Cat Litter instead as i didn't have the odour problem with this litter.
It is the best litter. It is really easy to scoup up the clumps, it lasts along time and the extra strength version is the best for a household with four indoor cats. Even the litter tray is easy to clean out - no sticky residue like other corn based litters. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Fantastic cat litter - absorbs smells and fluids - clumps together and is easy to remove. Can't recommend it highly enough!
It really is the Worlds Best Cat Litter and would never use any other, it's enviromentally friendly, completely flushable and doesn't track like the clay ones. I use the clumping one and if it's cleaned every day all you get is the corn smell of the litter
I've just tried this litter for the first time and I'm amazed how different it is from using other brands. It's so easy to use and you don't have to use even half as much. I was cleaning my 2 litter tray out at least twice a week for one cat and it was the most disgusting job, I haven't cleaned them in over a week just scooped out the clumps and it looks as good as new and doesn't smell! I haven't even tried flushing down the loo yet! Although it's expensive I doubt I'll go through it so fast at this rate!
I have been using this for 9 months now and it makes life so much easier. My two cats love it, there is hardly any tracking ( what there was have been resolved by using a plastic ribbed mat in front of the tray) and it works out much cheaper than supermarket brands. Add to that you can flush it down the loo and it is simply the worlds best cat litter! For two cats we use one large bag every 7 weeks, we used to use a large bag of supermarket litter every week before @ £6 a bag = £42 for 7 weeks compared to £27 for the Worlds best cat litter.
The title says everything. This cat litter is excellent. Odour free, clumps brilliantly and lasts ages. My rehomed cats think it is terrific, use it all the time. Outside is definitely not cool.
The best cat litter I have purchased so far. And the most expensive, but it is worth the money spent. No odours, extra strong clumps (which can be fused down the toilet, but I do not try it) and the cats have no problem with it. They lick their paws every time they get out the litter box, though. I suppose the litter sticks to their paws or is it the smell they want to get rid of? Anyway, no problems so far. I recommend it.
True, this is expensive litter BUT... It clumps to perfection and is a doddle to scoop out. The solid waste is dry (almost dessicated) and is so easily removed. Everything can be flushed away in the toilet. Personally, I follow up the flushing with two large bucketfuls of water and a final flush and this is for 2 large cat litter pans serving six cats. I conducted my own cat litter trials, experimenting with most brands and types and can truthfully report that I find this the very best. I'd like to suggest that one uses a solid scoop like that used for the distribution of dry food (not the open mesh type) for removing the soiled litter and dry waste: its profile perfectly fits the bottom edges and corners of litter trays and it can be successfully used flat for the base. I tilt the pan allowing the clean litter to fall to one side leaving the clumps for removal. The lighter one scoops, the easier it is to remove the clumps and avoids breaking them up... bit like an archaeological dig! I do wish the manufacturer of this spectacular litter would reduce the price to enable more people, especially those on a low budget, to enjoy its benefits. THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I can't disagree that this is the "World's Best Cat Litter". I have tried other brands, and they just don't compare. It's not a miracle litter, it simply does what it is supposed to do. I use it because it is the least messy, and I can easily flush it or throw it in the compost bin. I have no intention of trying any other brands after this.
Recently changed to this. My cats took to it straight away. It is more expensive than other litters but is, suspect, overall more economical. Its clumping properties are second to none and there is very little tracking. I use it in both a large covered litter tray and in a ModKat box. There is a distinct smell to the litter but it is certainly better than cat poop and pee, which it masks the small of well. As I keep my cats litter trays outside the main house this not an issue. I recommend this litter and shall continue to use it.
