Lovely and big
I bought the white and clear version for my large cat. We have a smaller covered tray but it's a dark opaque grey and he doesn't like it (lots of accidents). So I went for this because it seemed less claustrophobic for him. I'd read somewhere that cats don't do there business in hidden places outside so some can be uncomfortable with covered trays in the house. The tray is very, very light and airy inside. It's also deep and spacious and my cat has taken to with no problems. I'm going to purchase a second one to replace the dark and dingy one that he now totally ignores.

Would definately recommend.
I think the person who said there is a large gap has put the door on back to front. I did, then realised my mistake.
The filter got shredded by the kitten so I have been using it without and it is still a lot better than having an open litter box.
Because it is such a good size and the door is almost clear it must be more pleasant for the cats to use.
I was shocked how big it was when I bought it, but as my kitten grows into a cat I am glad it is big.
It is very easy to carry with the handle to take it to the toilet to scoop the poop and the clips fasten and unfasten very easily but seem secure enough to carry without worrying.

The best tray we've ever purchased
This slightly higher tray contains litter well after 'digging'. One of my cats ofter hangs their bottom outside the door; this tray has helped to stop that happening. The foldable door front and transparent material allows you to scoop easily. Size is great for bigger cats. Door does have small gap at bottom but odour is not an issue for us now as we use oko best cat litter. Quality of item is very good.

Cats love Savic Nestor Impression Litter Box
We bought this product 3 weeks ago and gradually introduced Orchid Litter box into our home for our 3 cats. Firstly we started with just the tray, then with the cover on top and now we have put the flap. It's amazing because although we have normal litter trays, we did not expect our 14 year old cat to be the first to enjoy using it.

Chuffed
I was surprised at the negative review. I got this litter box for the raised back as a couple of my 20 pound cats pee standing up so it used to leak out on the old box, and even though they have still managed to spray above the join its not leaked, its plenty big enough and I like the see throughish top so they can get lots of light, must be horrible peeing in the dark in a sandpit..reminds me of a french holiday I once went on. The door does hang short and there is a gap but I haven't found this an issue the litter I use takes care of odour.Very pleased.

Brilliant
My Bengal didn't like the original covered tray we had and so used normal trays for nearly two years.
I bought this one on the chance the opening top would help her get used to it. She now uses it with the top down and flap on and never goes near the plain tray.
I am definitely going to get another for when our la test family addition arrives.

Plenty big enough for 2 6-month-old kittens
This works so much better for our 2 kittens than even a high sided tray because they were making such a mess with the litter. I was a bit concerned it would be too small for them both but they're perfectly happy sharing at the moment. One of them did pee in the handle on top of the box within a week of using it though, and soaked the filter, so we decided not to replace and use it without - the smell has been hardly noticeable since we changed to clumping litter. Great for a compact space.

Great for large cats
I bought this litter tray because we have 3 cats, two of which are large Norwiegan Forest cats and our litter tray was no longer suitable. It was bigger than I realised and is excellent...no more kitty *accidents*.

qick delivery
very impressed with delivery, but wen i opened the box, there were no instructions with it, it was simply enough to assemble though. my only niggle with this item is, there seems to be quite a large gap between box and flap. hopefully the smells and litter will stay in the box. hopefully i have put it together properly, thats why instructions would have been helpful. this is the reason for a four rating

Great
This tray is excellent. Very spacious and the door and filter definitely cut out nasty smells. Great buy

great for Maine Coons
I have 3 indoor Maine Coones and need a spacious litter tray as they love to dig. This is ideal with the lower front so they do not have trouble stepping in and out and the high sides to prevent leakage and litter kick out. It seems sturdy and love the front lift for easy cleaning access. Now just need the perfect non tracking litter ( impossible me thinks!)

Perfect solution litter box
Bought 2 of these for my two cats, on my daughters recommendation. Perfect solution for the frantic digger and also for the geriatric, unreliable squatter. I've not attached the cat flaps, as both my cats are creatures of habit and I thought it might be too far out of their comfort zone. I also don't click the top flap down, so that I can easily get to the beastly clumps. Maybe all covered trays are as good as these. But these were very reasonably priced. I just wish I'd bought them 8 years ago so I hadn't had to have the endless battle with scattered litter and unspeakable mess. The 17-year-old particularly likes the privacy. Also the extra filters are fab as there are 6 in a pack. Highly recommend.

good combination
I like to use the Catsan Smartpack, and after some experiments find this is the best covered box to use with these. The bags fit onto the base well, and the door is above the base, so swings freely.
It is easy to lift off the top to scoop out solids, and the cats are happy to use it, with minimal mess.
I don't know if they are concerned about privacy, but I prefer them out of sight!

Sturdy but has some design flaws
My two cats have been using this for a few months now. It is well-made and a nice deep tray but there are some things which make it more difficult for me, whilst fine for the cats. Firstly the catches are very stiff and I have arthritis in my hands, so I have to ask someone else to do them for me when the tray needs a complete clean and refill. Fortunately the flap lifts up enough to allow more frequent removal of lumps. Recently, I have actually stopped using the catches which fasten the tray to the hood because of the inconvenience and have to carry the entire tray from the base instead of being able to use the handle. Secondly, unlike other covered trays I have had, the flap (perhaps because it is designed to lift up for cleaning?) does not fit tightly into the base of the tray so the smells are not so well retained inside. All in all, despite the relative strength and durability of this tray, I would probably not buy another like it.

Cat Toilet
Bought this a year ago, my cat Bluebell is now 16 months old and still loving the privacy of her cat toilet. It's good value for money, easy to clean and very stylish.
