Looks great but need improvement
Good for large cats....Clean step-not really ,i use cat"s best.so the problem is not the litter...I replace the large covered corner box for this one because the litter outside the box,and now is even worse ...is all over my house .also not counseling the smell"s..So does the job+or-,and looks great but not worth the money really

Excellent with minor drawbacks
It's brilliant for tracking. The only issues are that cats often wee in the gaps so makes it tricky to clean, and odour control isn't the best.

perfect fit
I have a very small bathroom and this litter box is the only one that would fit between the toilet and the wall. It's convenient because the base is large and it becomes smaller at the top. My cat has enough room to manoeuver and scratch away inside, granted she is a small cat though.

Good item
This is a good idea to keep litter and smells contained to a degree, but if your cat is quote big they might not like it. My cats are quite big and they weren't sure at first, but after a while they used it. I have a few different boxes so they have a choice and they do seem to prefer the one without a cover. It is a very large box so also be sure you have the room.

Large and Private
I have now purchased 3 of these litter boxes and have always been pleased with their appearance though you will need a larger space to house them. I find they are quite easy to clean and practical to use though I do purchase the giant pan liners for the base tray. I am pleased to see that the new version of this Booda has a new filter at the top which cannot fall down which was the only weakness I felt in the original design.

Happy!
I like this product and love the Simon's Cat design. I had one for a few years until I felt it needed changing, purely for hygiene reasons. Replaced with the new design which is much sturdier than the old one. I don't find it difficult to take the top off to empty it - the clips are easy to undo unlike many of the plastic litter trays. All in all I'm happy with this design.

Looks great, has design flaws
Great aesthetically but design could improve: 1) The scoop is tiny and not effective at picking up unless your puss has micro-waste 2) the moulders corner 'feet' gather waste you can't pick up with a straight-edged scooper 3) the cat flap opening isn't a snug fit so doesn't stop smells.

Cant fault it!
Cat loves her privacy, took a while to walk up the steps, but now she loves it, looks fun in the hOuse, quite big, but very discreet. No smells, no litter trail, Puuuuuuurfect 10/10 highly recommend

Price matches with quality
Good size but quite flimsy. The filter doesn't do much either. Guess it's good enough for the price.

Brilliant!
The best 40 quid I ever spent ! Stops cat litter from getting tracked across my hall way all I get is a few odd bits now ,looks super cool too ! It's very large great if you have the room .

Does the job
Good for large cats. More attractive than tray. Needs a cover over the filter to stop cat pulling it out. The lid does not fasten to the base so you can not carry the whole unit by the handle. Does reduce litter tracking. Not worth the money really.

Good l large litter box & price.
Spacious enough for 2 cat's to use & for very large cats to fit inside. Height quite good tall enough. Looks good & easy to clean. Opening big enough to put your hand holding the scoop inside & see in to remove wee wee litter & poo immediately without taking the whole top of the box off. Faults are - that although there are 4 locks holding the top to the base & they work, you wouldn't be able to lift it up with litter in it - it would come apart, as other reviews stated (although i see no reason to do that as when I'm cleaning the box i take thd lid off & just carry the base over to the bin or the bin to the tray). The covered little tray is sturdy enough, but I wish it was rigid, thicker plastic. The big issue is that the filter is unusable as cats/kittens can get to it to tear it to pieces - the carbon filter seems irresistible to them! It needs improved to have a covered filter - it smells fine though without - no problems with smells (until the flap is opened & you get a waft) ofcourse. Also - the flap is tinted dark black (not transparent) meaning the box is dark inside, the cat can't see in or out, & we can't see inside. This frightens kittens or beginners - but the door is easily removed until they're braver I suppose. - I had no problem with my young kitten though - I just poked her feather toy in the door & she couldn't resist going in after it, then when she went in I pulled the toy out, jingled it & she gingerly poked out a paw first, then out she came again! I'm pleased with the cat litter box, but would spend more money for a covered filter, a hinged opening front, & rigid material in future. I may even spend that ridiculous amount of money on1 of the dearest boxes, (which I'm sure they don't cost that amount to make) as it is worth it to have one that will not need replacing.

Even good for large cats
I wanted a covered litter box, but had tried one before and my large Maine Coon, Jasmine had trouble fitting in it. I thought I'd try the Booda as it looked a bit larger than the standard covered litter tray, and the steps leading up to it would give Jasmine some extra wiggle room to get comfortable. Jasmine and I both love the Booda. She has no problem gettin in or out of it. It's all private and is a very attractive design. I would highly recommend the Booda for all cat owners, even those of us with extra large cats.

Going to order another - BRILLIANT!
We are a multi cat household (5) and have had numerous litter trays over the years but not as good as the booda dome! The way the dome is filled let's the litter last longer and the cats don't scratch the bottom of it making holes like they do in flat trays! I was concerned initially about the size cos we have a giant ginger tom but it's perfect for all our cats and they all happily use it! Buying another so they have a choice of where to pee and poop! Just brilliant! !!!!!

Love this...
We wanted an enclosed litter tray as we had a very visible space where we needed to have one, so this is brilliant. People don't actually know what it is which is great. My three longhairs took to it after a few days of suspicion, but will now happily use it when they are in. Occasionally we have litter come down the stairs, but I just sweep it up. Find it odd people say their cats pee down the stairs, ours still recognise it as a litter tray to climb in to, just one with a roof. We're considering replacing our other tray with one of these too.

Great Box
We bought the grey box as a first grown-up box for our kitten and our older cat took to it immediately! I have removed the swing door so cannot comment on any problems that may have. The only thing we have found is that the scoop is rather small and tends to fall off its hook so we dont use it! For this reason I have droped it a point tho it is a bit harsh as the cats, yes even the kitten, are quite happy to use it and I find they dont seem to manage to lose as much litter over the floor as their other box does. All round great box of good size for even our large cat.

I purchased this litter tray out of sheer desperation, my rescue ragdoll had a nasty habit of half walking into the litter tray and stopping, and the result was pee and poop outside the box! This has completely stopped his behavior even if she was to pee on the steps it wouldn't get as far as the mat by the door as it would collect at the bottom! All 3 cats love it so much they have virtually stopped using the other trays, so much so I'm thinking of removing he other trays. It's pretty big but I can cope with that. If you have a cat who pee's up the side walls like I do, you just gotta wipe the rim of the bottom and top when you scoop and thats it, no biggy!

It's large and my cats seem to like it but wee is always leaking outside and my cat boys easily manage to throw litter around, on the stepladder and on the floor. I'm going to change it

Spacious, stylish, cat loves it
Our cat loved this, excellent also for large cats. Looks good, easy to clean, helps keep the room clean especially when using fine litter.

Filter problems otherwise my cat likes it.
I agree with the previous reviews as I too am having problems with filter which keeps opening and is now stuck together with cello-tape.That being said my cat now prefers this litter tray to her other one and I do think there is less litter tracking. Shame there seems to be a design flaw.

It's ok(ish)
This litter box arrived today and I couldn't wait to put it together for my very fussy girls. I was surprised by the size for starters, it's a big litter box that doesn't fit well into any space within my home - a good sized town house which already has 3 other litter boxes, one of which is the omega roll and clean which is also very big. Once I'd spent a while moving furniture around to fit it in somewhere I was faced with the filter & compartment dilemma, I'm blaming it on a log day at work but I just couldn't figure out how it fitted into the box, the instructions were worse than useless as the printer had misprinted it and some text was missing. I eventually figured it out once I realised the 2 parts don't fit together but both onto the lid of the box it's self. Then came the one free litter liner, I honestly don't think it was made for this box, it hair doesn't fit so I've had to settle for some of the litter compartment uncovered and half of the stairs blocked by stray liner. I have a feeling the liner isn't one supplied by the manufacturer but I always like litter boxes so will have to make-do. Perhaps if the clip was still supplied, it would have been better. Clean step - not really, I use worlds best cat litter and there is already quite a bit on the carpet after an evenings use. What with the box being so big I can't take up more room with a tracking mat and as I have a toddler I try to avoid using them, they seem to be a magnet to her and she drags them around the house. The smell isn't really concealed either, perhaps because it's open rather than sealed with a plastic flap like standard hooded boxes. My cats do seem to like it though, choosing this over the others we have scattered about the house. So all in all, it's ok. Sadly not as good as I was expecting.

One of the best litter trays ever.
I bought this litter tray because my cats were tracking litter all over the house and it was driving me crazy. The Booda literally stopped this problem overnight. My cats have no problem using it and it is very well designed and although there is a tiny bit of litter tracking this has saved my sanity. It is quite a large tray and I wish the manufacturer did a smaller sized one as I have a small flat and not a lot of room for such a big thing. I would certainly buy again as this not only looks stylish but does the job it promised.

Godsend!
My cats have taken to this really quickly - even the mildly arthritic one. There's barely any litter tracking, and the pan is big enough for me to not need a second tray on the go.

Not worth
Replaces my smaller corner litter box - for the same results. Added also the double entrance pad - after combining these 2 products I am faced with the same result as before: litter all over my studio.

Best Litter Box I have ever puchased!
This litter box not only looks good, but my two Russian Blues love it! Unlike other litter boxes, it is discreet for the cats, contains bad odours and the side steps prevents litter from escaping the box and causing a mess in your home. Fantastic Product! Worth every penny!

Without doubt the best litter box.
I have two kittens that decided they couldn't be bothered to walk downstairs and use large catit box. So purchased this to use upstairs as it looks so much better... Not only is it actually quite beautiful, but not a speck of cat litter leaves the box, it stays on the steps. Also you cannot smell a single thing, despite it not having a flap. it iis truly brilliant. I am now going to purchase another to put downstairs. Worth the extra money.

Best Litter Box Ever!
Both my cats took to this tray straight away, the fact the actual tray bit is tucked around the corner of the entrance slopes means their is hardly any litter debris kicked out by the cats when they use it! Plus I have 2 dogs who also like to eat the cat poo if I do not get to it in time (even in a previous tray which had a door on) but with this one they can't so now they ignore it! Very happy customer

Good For Larger Cats
I've had one of these for quite a few years now and it's great. No problem with the cats accepting it, they went straight up the stairs. I find it especially suits my Maine Coon boy, there's more room in it than the standard boxes which are too small for him, although this is becoming a squeeze! I also like that you can't see the cat, nothing more off-putting than catching them 'mid business'. I do still get a lot of tracking litter but I do have 4 cats so probably with just the one you wouldnt get this, because the stairs catch a lot of litter.

great litter box
My little cat accepted this litter boxfrom the start. It is very spacious and with the stairs and the somewhat higher edge, very little litter is scattered on the ground. A mat is not really needed. I like it and I'm considering buying another
