Really is Rainproof
I bought this for my stud cats enclosed garden as prefers going outside to using one in his cabin. He has no trouble getting in and out, the lid stays on well although has no securing clips and it is plenty big enough.
Only slight drawbacks are that slightly flimsy for its size and hence need to take care when washing it and carrying it full but not a major problem. The lid can be a little tricky to fit back on but again not a significant drawback. Overall a very good weatherproof tray.

Ideal
Brought to use inside for an elderly cat, this was ideal as it keeps the dogs out as well. Very large tray keeps everything where it is meant to be. Might need a strap on it if you have a strong or determined dog to stop them flipping the lid off I just keep the bag of litter on top and the dogs haven't got in
