Very entertaining
Great and entertaining product, my girl cat is really enjoying it. It would be nice if the speed was adjustible but even when not in on mode, she really likes it. Could be too noisy for some cats but my noise-sensitive cat does'nt mind.

Amazing
My cat absolutely destroys this butterfly even if it’s off, she runs over to “kill” her haha it’s the funniest toy! I’m so glad I can keep buying replacements for it because they are definitely need it

Quiet and entertaining
My two cats love it. My kitten loves hitting the little butterfly and is holding up very well (he's a maine coon so not a small breed). My senior cat loves watching the fluttering rather than bopping it.
The metal wire eventually gets bent a little over time but this actually just makes the butterfly move in new ways which the cats love.
Only downside to this is the 3x AA batteries. No idea how long they'll last but the cats will watch this endlessly so I can see the batteries being a cost i
Great toy
My cat really enjoys this toy. Great that toy has rubber dots on the bottom and it does not slip on the floor. It's quiet, butterfly attachment is easy to change.

Toy is too loud so it ends up scaring the cats
I bought this toy for my two, very playful, indoor-only, cats. Hunting is their favorite pastime and they love other interactive toys I bought them so far. Unfortunately, this toy completely confuses them to the point they just sit and stare into it. The butterfly moves too fast and the base of the toy is oddly shaped that it keeps shaking, making a huge noise. A little heads up to the manufacturer - cats don't like to approach noisy things. I'm afraid this one is going to the bin soon.

Cats love it, but…
My Maine Coons love this toy, but the wire on the butterfly gets flattened by them in minutes, which leaves the butterfly dragging on the floor. Perhaps if it had the same type of coil it has at the butterfly end at the base, it would last longer… great toy otherwise, but the wire that gets flatten by the cats in no time takes away from it…

Good fun
We went crazy for this annoying a fly, killed it hundred times and is never dead.
We like it.
Is a bit too noisy,but ok. The think is,is flying to fast, would be absolutely briliant if the toy would have a few different speed options

Too fast
My cat loves chasing and hunting whatever moves.. But she was terrified of this, it spins way too fast! She could only look at it and then back away fast. Tried so many times to see if she'd take to it but she never did, it spun around so fast she'd no hope of even touching it. Pure waste of money

Butterfly Cat Toy
Having a cat with leukemia it’s hard to keep them occupied when they’ve spent the first two years of their life outside and now confined. We’re forever trying to find things to keep her entertained and whether this is switched on or off she’s rolling around playing with it. Great product and came with plenty replacement butterfly’s. Fantastic product.

Excellent toy for blind kitties!!!
I have a blind cat and it is very hard finding toys that she's able to interact with and this toy is PURRRFECT for her. It makes the perfect little flutter noise that keeps her interested and helps her track her prey. If it's on... she is playing with it.

Not for fussy cats...
I wanted to get something that my cat can play with by himself and I don't need to do much as he is 6 months old and he wants a lot attention and play all the time. This looked interesting with many positive reviews. However when I switch it on he watches the butterfly for a minute and then he walks away... If the butterfly is switched off he is not interested in at all so this one goes into cupboard with his other stuff that he doesn't like!

Great toy - need to be able just to order replacement butterflies
this a big hit will all my cats/kittens, so much so the butterflies don't last too long before being shredded so being able to order just that replacement part would be great
Great product but not built to last
My cat absolutely loved this toy, would spend forever chasing and pouncing however the butterflies would snap off after a short while and replacements cannot be purchased. So once your cat gets through all 4 butterflies supplied, a whole new toy would have to be purchased. If it wasn't for this I would rate it 5 stars because the idea is great and my cat did really enjoy it.

Really good toy. It has interested my cat more than any other toy he has had. Agree with others it is such a shame that you can't buy new separate butterflies. Used 2 already in no time

An Instant Hit!
My more timid cat was initially interested when the mechanism was switched, but ran and hid when i turned it on. My other cat has not been very playful since she had an eye operation and I've been concerned about her weight, but she has literally spent hours bounding around with this toy, batting it, catching it and letting it go. Hurrah! The more timid cat has been watching her play so I think she'll go back to it when the other one is tired out. Brilliant toy.

........ Zooplus don't offer the facility of being able to purchase spare butterflies, had they have done I would have given this toy a 5* rating as my cats love it, but the butterflies don't last long in this house with my 3 large cats. Also it would be useful if batteries were included.

Great little toy, well worth the buy. All four of my cats love it! The extra butterflies are an excellent idea.
Love it love it!
I have two boys, one will play with anything and everything the other is hard to please. They both go mad for this toy and it withstands a lot of abuse from both of them including being bitten and dragged around the room. The only thing I can't work out is how to change the butterfly once it's officially dead so will be emailling zooplus to find this out!

My kitty's favourite toy
This toy has always been a hit with my kitty. She’s been using it for 10 months now, with some breaks when I put it away. It still spins and the butterfly is still intact... The only downside is the squeaking noise it makes—it ends up being really annoying. I’m going to try another butterfly toy from a different brand, hoping it won’t squeak.

The speed was a bit wild at first with new batteries, but using slightly used batteries at the start helped with that. My cat loves it

Great entertainment for kittens

Great while it lasts..
Basically, a beloved toy for all our playful cats... But I ordered it in November and now the motor has already given up. I also had to replace the butterflies quite often, mainly because the rods bend down very quickly and it's almost impossible to bend them back... plus some butterflies were just badly made and flew backwards...
