This toy should have been a great toy but in fact is average. The fluttering butterfly is a great idea, just needed some more thought going into it. It only has 1 fast speed, it needs to be able to flutter back and forward, slow and fast. Also instead of 1 butterfly fluttering, it would have been more fun to have 2. My cats showed a little interest when I switched it on, but no attempt to catch the butterfly as the speed was continually too fast, instead of alternating between slow and fast.

My cats all interact with this, even if they're feeling lazy they will still sit and watch it or just lay there hoping to catch it in their mouth (Or just let it repeatedly hit them in the face - amusing to watch). I like that it comes with spares (Although a shame you cannot buy them separately) My only criticism is that it would be better if when the butterfly gets stopped in its path or comes into contact with something, it went back the other way? This would make it a little less predictable!

My kittens are loving this toy so far. One of them spends ages engrossed in catching that butterfly. The other sits back and watches and likes to pounce from a distance. It's been funny watching them enjoy the toy. Really happy I got it and not a bad price, I've seen it's more expensive elsewhere online.

I like keeping Jessie my tuxedo cat busy since she is an indoor cat. This new Funny Butterfly is great for keeping her very busy trying to catch it. out of all her toys this is the best!

My little tabby kitten Ollie absolutely loves this toy. He was a bit unsure at first but soon got stuck in and can't stop playing with it. It is a shame you can't get replacement butterflies though. Thank you Zooplus for making my kitten very happy.

My two BSH's LOVE this toy. They take it in turns and queue up as soon as it starts up. The big problem is that it won't last long as you can't get spare butterflies which is a real waste. I have one left and the toy will then be useless. Be warned. Once the butterfly covering starts to crack get rid of the butterfly. My female cat ate part of the wing covering as it cracked and came off causing a couple of days panic until it reappeared. A remote control would be very useful too!

Great cat toy, keeps cat interested only problem is there's no where to buy more butterfly's so once the cats destroyed them all the toy is useless.

All 7 of my cats aged from 7 to 12 have played with and enjoyed this toy. Another good buy. I am glad I bought this item.

........ Zooplus don't offer the facility of being able to purchase spare butterflies, had they have done I would have given this toy a 5* rating as my cats love it, but the butterflies don't last long in this house with my 3 large cats. Also it would be useful if batteries were included.

My 9 week old ragdoll loves this soooo much I've been able to do my cleaning with no helper!!

Having bought this for a 12 week old kitten, was initially delighted that he had so much fun with it. However he soon had managed to remove one of the butterflies leaving a piece of wire dangerously exposed. Would not recommend unsupervised play with this toy.

Both my British Shorthair boys love this toy and play with it for hours! Such a great idea and cheap enough to buy. The only downside is you can't buy spare butterfly's separately. It comes with spares but my boys play rough so I doubt they'll last long.

Great little toy, well worth the buy. All four of my cats love it! The extra butterflies are an excellent idea.

Such a simple concept inexpensive but my cats love chasing the butterfly it keeps them entertained

I have two boys, one will play with anything and everything the other is hard to please. They both go mad for this toy and it withstands a lot of abuse from both of them including being bitten and dragged around the room. The only thing I can't work out is how to change the butterfly once it's officially dead so will be emailling zooplus to find this out!

This is a hit with my kitten. He loves it! Keeps him entertained for ages during his "funny five minutes" at night. Great little gadget. Comes with a couple of spare butterflies. He did have to get used to the nouse of it initially but now he baps it all the time. The actuall little butterfly part is quite robust too and not as flimsy as I thought it would be. Top product.

I bought one of these a few months ago. My Cats love this toy. It is a shame it is not the remote control version or that spare butterflies cannot be purchased separately, but all 3 of my cats will play with this toy even when it is not turned on :)
