My british shorthair boy loves this smelly toy,he carry' it in his mouth,cuddles it,licks it and kicks it, he just adores it and it's favouite out of all his toys.

This toy smells awful but my boy fought me for it as I was getting it out of the packaging then rolled around on the floor with it for ages. Another success!!

Barely managed to get it out of the packet and it got swiped from my hands by my one year old female. She then spent a good ten minutes rolling, kicking it and batting it around. Male cat not so interested but he isn't keen on catnip either. The valerian smell isn't great but bearable when you see the reaction :) best £2.50 spent!

Both my 12-yr old M + F cats love playing with this large mouse toy. It has opened up the inner kitten in them.

my cat Daisy has always loved catnip and valerian so we bought her this mouse. As soon as we took it out she was rolling around on the floor with it in her paws rubbing her face and generally getting high, we now have one happy spaced out puddytat!

My cat is pretty indifferent to catnip but she loves valerian, and this mouse makes her simply trip out. She hugs it, nuzzles it, nibbles it, rubs her face in it, rolling around with it in drooling ecstasy. I let her play with it for a few minutes and then put it back in the ziplock bag (along with another of her toys to infuse!). The mouse does smell very strongly of valerian, but it's to be expected.

I have 2 very fussy siamese cats who do get bored quickly, cat nip filled toys dont have as much effect as the valerian root toys, it sends them in to a rubbing purring frenzy, nothing like cat nip does which is a mild effect, in cats it sends them into a hyper playfull mood yet in dogs it has the opposite effect being calmining hence the drops of valerian root you can buy to calm dogs down on bonfire night or travel.

I bought 3 of these expecting them to be easily shared between my 6 cats. I really wish I'd bought 10 in total! I gave my parents 4 cats a little sniff while picking up my items and had to leave it there because I couldn't get it back off them. As soon as I got home my cats could smell it on my bag and they've been wrestling the remaining 2 off each other since. While it does smell quite strongly of cheesy feet, it's doesn't bother me as the cats really love it. Will be buying more in my next order!

Due to reviews I read about this smelling bad, I only ordered one. After receiving my order, my three cats went mad for the Aumüller Cat Toy Mouse Valeri.. And the smell wasn't bad at all. I am ordering more so they all have one each and don't end up fighting over who plays with it first! Wonderful product, highly recommended.

Compared to a catnip filled mouse, this is amazing, my cat goes mad for it, rubbing his face on it and playing with it endlessly. It does however smell awful, and can clear a room! We store it in it's bag to keep down the smell when not in use!! Will be buying more!

Our cats absolutely love this mouse. They treat it differently to their other toys. Not only do they attack and play with it but they also cuddle the mouse and take it to bed with them. We first discovered that our cats like valerian when I left some of my bedtime herbal tea bags out and the cats got them, ripped them open and rolled about on the floor in the valerian. This will definitely be a repeat buy. Shame it smells so much!

my older cat returned to kittenhood with this smelly toy. It has a beanbag feel,he tugs and chews and his pupils dilate, then he runs around the room ,worth every penny but wow does it smell!!

My cats absolutely love this cute large soft mouse. Months later and they are still attracted to it - the best toy mouse I've ever bought - only problem is, it absolutely reeks and when it's new it does stink the room out - but worth it for how much the kitties love it.

my cat adores this mouse she plays, cuddles, and attacks it. she seems to love the smell of it and loves rubbing her face all over it. And good value too.

My cats love this, it's only lightly stuffed so easy to pick up and carry, long tail so great for tug o' war games and they love the smell. I have noticed that valerian has greater effect on my cats than catnip.

My big one loves it, and goes crazy with it. Not sure why the little is just not interested at all..
