Good

The product's composition is good because my cat has gained weight and has a shiny coat, but they're too hard; they should be smaller and more crumbly. They're terrible to chew if your cat has chewing problems.

After the production of Senior Aging 12+ was discontinued, I assumed that the replacement product Aging 11+ would be eaten just as happily. But absolutely not the case. Both cats refuse to eat the new dry food. It's a real shame to take such a product off the market. Royal Canin is no longer an option for me.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I am very satisfied with this dry food for older cats. At first, I mixed it with the old food so the transition would be easier. That worked perfectly. The price is reasonable, but I don’t skimp when it comes to my pet and I value good nutrition highly. I can recommend it, and my tomcat likes it too.

My cat was used to the stuffed kibbles for senior cats from Royal Canin, which he loved. Since they stopped making them, we've been searching for alternatives. In any case, it won't be these kibbles, as they give him diarrhoea. We've tried several, and as soon as she eats them again, it starts all over again 🫤

Very good product, both in terms of taste (my sweet old lady goes crazy for it!!!) and because it's very easy to digest. My kitty has come back to life, she has much more energy and her coat has also improved. I've been using these for months now and she still eats them with pleasure, which is quite unusual for her as she always wants to change.

Honestly, my cat used to devour the previous version (rectangular croquettes), but with this new version he backs off and won’t eat them.

Used to Royal Canin kibbles for sterilised cats, as long as she ate them all at once, Friza being a bit of a little glutton, it was never an issue… Then, Friza started throwing up whole kibbles and wouldn’t eat them again. The problem was simple: My little Friza, my “baby”, is 15 years old, whether I like it or not! I immediately found some “senior cat +11” kibbles that my kitty tried and took to straight away, without vomiting! They’re smaller and easier to digest!

Very appetising kibble, my 11-year-old cat took to them straight away! To be safe, I tried the 400g bag before going for the 4kg size. I switched from Friskies to Royal Canin 11+, and it really does require a proper gradual transition (mixing the new food with the old over 10-15 days). Many people mention diarrhoea, but by taking it slow, her digestion handled the change perfectly with no problems. Excellent quality, very easy to digest, I recommend 100%!

After years of feeding my little glutton RC (Appetizer Control), I switched to this senior food. As with almost every RC product, he practically attacked his bowl. No suspicious sniffing or hesitation, just really tucking in, and because the kibble is a bit smaller, his bowl was empty in no time. The first few days drove me mad—he kept pestering me for food and distractions didn’t help much. But luckily, he got used to it and he’s doing really well on it now. High-quality food.

My senior Maine Coon cat has a food allergy. That's why I was sceptical when Royal Canin switched their senior food to new varieties. I tried the new 11+ variety and was pleased. My cat tolerated it very well and I can definitely recommend it.

The Senior Food 11 is well accepted, but my cats loved the previous version in cushion form, Senior AGEING, much more. They were absolutely crazy about it – it was always the first thing they picked out of the bowl. It's such a shame that it's no longer available. Why can't tried and tested things just be kept?
