Not a good replacement for Healthy Ageing 12+
Because the Healthy Ageing 12+ is no longer available, I’m looking for an alternative.
These Ageing 11+ kibbles are rock hard! Impossible for senior cats. She swallows them whole and doesn’t eat them very well.
Not a good replacement! Please, bring back the old Healthy Ageing 12+ kibbles!
Our cat had a lot of trouble with her stomach and intestines until we gave her the Healthy Ageing 12+. Everything was fine, no more vomiting or diarrhoea. The kibbles were easy to chew for a senior who doesn’t have all her teeth anymore.

Switching to new Ageing food
My 13-year-old cat, who doesn’t have all her teeth anymore, is definitely not a fan of the new R.C food; the pillow-shaped version WAS perfect for older cats – and easy to chew. Really bad idea to discontinue it 😪😳

Not recommended
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Unfortunately, my tomcat didn’t get on well with the food. He accepted it really well at first, but after a short time he vomited. I tried several times, always with the same result. In my opinion, the meat content could also be higher.

Poor move
Unfortunately, Royal has changed the formula and appearance of the food again. First it happened with Digestive Care, and now with Ageing +12. Sadly, in both cases, my cats now refuse to eat it. Customer ratings have dropped, and suddenly there are loads of positive comments from people who received the food for free in a promotional campaign. Not a great move.

Ok, but what matters is what comes after "but"
I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion. The cats eat it eagerly, but then again, what cat wouldn’t be happy to eat fast food? The pieces are small and easy to chew, but the ingredients leave a lot to be desired. I understand it’s a dietary food, but I can imagine it’s possible to create a product for sick cats with a better composition. :)

Not suitable for my cat
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I tried several times to give these kibbles to my 14-year-old cat, but no luck, it just didn’t work out. The first time, she flat-out refused them, maybe because the smell was too strong when I first opened the package. Later on, she gave them a try, but every time I fed her the recommended amount, she had loose stools the next day. As soon as I switched her back to her usual food, the problem disappeared.
