This scratching board has been a hit with some owners, lasting for years even with daily use by large cats. However, not everyone has had the same experience. One customer found the board fell apart quickly, with the upper half detaching from the backing. The trick is in the positioning!
The board is built very well and comes with a little sachet of cat nip which is great! I attached it to the wall in the living room and was disappointed that my cat wouldn't go near it, but after reading that cats like a scratch after a nap, I took it down and lay it on the floor near his cat bed. He IMMEDIATELY went over to it and started scratching and rolling on it! So there you go :) I think he'll continue to enjoy it.

2 out of 2 cats love this product ;-)
My 2 cats were using it the second I got the wrapping off so I'll soon be buying more to replace the tatty cardboard ones I have dotted around the house. They blend in well with my decor too. They didn't need the catnip as an incentive to use the scratching board so I'll use it to make a cat toy.
One negative is that the staples used to fix the backing board were not all flush so I hammered these in before laying on my laminate flooring to prevent scratches.
BTW The boxes my deliveries come in are also very popular!
