Now I admit I am the world's worst at putting anything together and usually have to get help in the end. Most of the reviews that mention assembly say beware start at the top and work down and the diagram instructions also indicate this - yet the written instructions in product details say start by attaching 3 x 40com posts to the base so I am a bit confused - will have to get some help from someone who is a bit more savvy (and patient) on doing these tasks than me - I am sure it will lovely once I have managed to sort it out

Ordered this Wednesday night, arrived Friday morning!! Our cat, who is the main scratcher in the house was scratching on it while hubby was assembling it!! Currently he has taken pride of place on the highest bed and hasn't left and doesn't look like he has any intention in the near future but it is close to tea time so he may rethink then. Hubby agrees with other reviews that the instructions could be better. But fantastic quality, very sturdy and well worth the money. Always a great service too.

Everything was quickly put together, seems very stable and good quality. My cat quickly inspected all the areas and is happy to use them all to play around with. I have yet to install the scratching pad, but my cat prefers to lounge about in the big lying space. Fantastic and definitely recommended!

Really nice and sweet cat tree. My 2 older ladies love it! The top spot is hot property! I did feel sorry for the delivery man. I ordered this with a 20l packet of cat litter and I live on the third floor in a building with no lift. Poor guy! But the tree is just great!!!

I'm really very happy. The tree is stable, has lots of different places to scratch, hide away, and sleep. The top spot is huge and soft! My mum has had the tree for almost a year now and it still looks brand news (despite heavy usage :)) Definitely recommend the tree. Great value for money!

I ordered this for my two 5 month old kittens and they love it! I ordered it on Monday and it had arrived by Wednesday, which was excellent. It's very sturdy, with plenty of space for growing kittens to play and sleep. They both share the sleeping place at the top, or sleep on separate areas. A word to the wise though! Don't be like me and not read the institutions properly. This cat tree is basically built and put together from the top to the bottom. Unfortunately, I realised this when I had triumphantly nearly finished building it from the bottom up, then had to undo it ALL and start again (much to the joy of my 15 year old daughter, who pointed out my error!). Great value for money in the sale and excellent service.

This is a really nice cat tree, assembly was ok, and my cat loved it immediately. Value for money is fantastic. Would definitely buy another one to replace this one (if it breaks)

Ordered this tree on New Years Day and received it on 3 Jan, excellent tracked service. My son put it together for me while I was out and said it took him about 10 minutes and that he realised quite quickly that you have to assemble it from the top down. Our two 8 month old kittens took to it straight away, have tried out each of the scratch posts and all the platforms and tunnel etc. The hammock is already a favourite place for a kip. Really pleased with this purchase which is excellent value as it seems really sturdy and well made and I am sure will provide hours of fun.

I have 6 indoor cats so they needed a good sturdy cat tree.I tried several before this but they always broke or became unsafe after a few months. This tree is in a different class. It's easy to put together (You do it from the top downwards, I learnt this the hard way !) & never wobbles. My cat's love the hammock at the side & the top has a lovely soft bed. Also the price is amazing for what you get.

Have just assembled the cat tree and I'm very pleased with the results. I have 3 cats (all over 5 kgs) so needed something really sturdy and this fits the bill purrrrfectly. My white persian is now sound asleep on the top "bed" purring his head off. Easy to assemble but be sure to read other reviews and start from the top otherwise it won't work !! Can highly recommend buying this product.

The tree is excellent and the cats love it and I would recommend it. However it was let down by the instructions and the way it's designed to be put together. If you do buy one make sure you "START ASSEMBLING IT THE TOP!" or you can't fit the top plinth. The screws are fixed in the "top posts" and not screwed in from above, which would the logical thing to do and be much simpler. Although the instructions did sort of indicate to start from the TOP, it was not obvious and could/should be much clearer. I started from the bottom which I think is the logical thing to do and judging by other reviews lots of other people did too. Problem is – all goes well until you come to fit the top plinth and there is no way to connect it because you can't turn the screws. Result is you have to waste your time taking it all apart and start again from the TOP. Assembling it this way is also much more awkward as you have to lay it on its side. Anyway hope this helps you not waste your time like me and many others seem to have done. Manufactures take note and either redesign to connect the top plinth with screws from the top or at least make the instructions more explicit with a big WARNING to start at the TOP! I showed your instructions to a few other people and asked how they would put it together and they all said start from the bottom.

I have had a good amount of cat trees in my time, but this one is the best I ever had. It is sturdy, and holds easy 2 cats of over 4.5 kg. The hammock and the cat bed on top are great places for them to sleep. The fact that the bed on top is washable is great. The only downfall I expected it to be a bit taller. I expect this to last quite a good time and my cats love it... A+++++ By it for this price or even double the price you don't get a better product. One tip if you do buy it start building it from the top, I started at the bottom and had to do it all over again as top part does not fit if put together the wrong way.

I bought this product in 2012 and was delighted with it. It's a little bit chewed now so I'm thinking of moving it out of the living room and replacing it. After hours of searching the internet once again, it is apparent that this is still the best value for money cat scratcher on the market. I am about to order my second and would have no hesitation in recommending it to cat owners. It's a good size tree and very sturdy which is practical for kittens and large cats alike.

I bought this scratch tree to replace one that was smaller and wobbled for my two exotic cats. As the price was so reasonable I wasn't expecting the quality product I received. It's well made and very sturdy. The material is very luxurious and the top cushion cover is removable so can be washed. I am very pleased with this item and so are my cats. The only issue is the instructions to put it together, they are very vague!! Make sure you start at the top or it won't work!!!!!!

This is the third cat tree for our kitty, Timmy. We have three different sizes. All purchased from this website. This size was perfect for our small living room. We wanted something small as in night to fit a corner. Timmy seems to love it. The left hide part of the tree he loves to jump up and greet me and my partner when we come home. We have to Q up to get a kiss and a cuddle from him. The top part (the bed)is very spacious he can curl up on one side. I'd say this would fit two cats of medium size about a 4kg cat. Ideal for bigger cats. Timmy still has a kip in it when we in the living room. The lower post are great to scratch. However he does not make use of the small ramp or the hole. Maybe a younger cats would. I also find him asleep in the middle round pob. Normally this should sit beside the left part where cats can hide in. I've altered the look of the tree to fit the corner and Timmy makes good use of it to. Even sitting on the huge pet paw scratching our speaker system... The little devil! It was easy to put together but I recommend actually following the instructions. Or do what I did and have to un screw it all because I started from the bottom and not the top...lol it was fun none the less. I'm please with the tree and so is Timmy. He gives it 5 scratchy paws up and sandpaper kisses. This is ideal for one to three cats. The structure is solid and has a nice furry coat around.

Excellent except 2 years on and the pole with the round house has broken. It was wobbling like mad which made my cat nervous then one day fell off around the brown thing which screws into platform. Just wish it had been attached to main bed to make more sturdy! It would be great if base was made of natural wood rather than covered in fabric as very hard to keep clean if beige! My cat wouldn't swap it for the world!
