It’s empty in here!
my 6 month old kitten loves this wet pouch, he opens it with me and never leaves any in his bowl, delivery is super fast too.
My cat only eats this food. I've determined that this wet food is very filling. Other foods always leave my cat still hungry. My cat, Kalinka, gets two pouches spread out over a day as she is a housecat. I recommend it.
I have 6 cats ,two are quite fussy siamese and they all loved this ,very surprised they all like it
What can I say? I haven't tasted it, but the cat likes it - even more than the gravy version. From the human perspective, it doesn't have a strong odour so that's a big plus. (Although I'm sure she will eventually go off it, as she does with all foods, it's currently the favourite and hopefully it will hold the top spot as long as the gravy one did!)
Even though my cat is only 7 years old, he loves RC Aging +12. I bought it after I read all the positive reviews and it was worth it. But it has to be a product with gravy. He's not a fan of foods with jelly.
My cat goes crazy for this food, it diesappears in a jiffy - licking all the gelatine! Recommended for those who want to see their kitties grow in strength and health.
this is a good product but my cat had trouble with the jelly version - tended to make him sick - whereas he was fine with the gone in sauce
This food destroys appetites right down to the very last crumb. A pity that this Light food contains sugar. So I'm not really sure if it is really that good for losing weight. But they still seem to like it and it fills them up.
Our cats (Maine Coons) rush over to this food every morning.
there is only one single problem with RC instinctive in Jelly the packaging. Make sure to shake the pack before opening or you'll end up spilling loads. My gourmets get very excited as soon as they see the package - they just love the jelly!
For kittens, there's nothing better than this RC Jelly. Top! Recommended
Excellent product, my kitten loves it and asks for it every day !!
I'd recommend this product for all kittens. My kitten loves it - I give it to him twice a day.
I tested tgushis product very carefully as one of my cats never got on well with sachets and would vomit them back up. He's fine with this one, though. Good product, recommended
No doubt about it - this is the wet food that Pisolo loves best. Usually with wet food I leave it down for ages and he picks at it, but with this one he eats it all in one go. What can I say? More, please!
I have 2 moggies, one aged 15 the other a stray originally approx 9-11 years. I first got this lite version for my stray as he is a chunky monkey but my 15yr old soon discovered the taste and now I buy her the senior version as the last thing she needs is to lose weight. I have previously tried them both on kitekat, whiskers.. All the regular supermarket brands as well as hills science plan wet food but they turn up their noses! I cannot recommend this product enough and zoo plus have the best offers I can find on the net. Please keep this product affordable zoo plus :)
My cats love this even more than than the Instinctive. They have Felix for breakfast and Intense Beauty for tea and both have shiny soft coats.
Pros: my two cats can't wait to eat it, as if there were no other food in the world worth eating Cons: The ingredients - it contains sugar and grains, neither of which are too great to include in cat food. I also find these pouches really impractical and it's tricky to get all of the food out. I have to admit I like sweets and fast food occasionally myself, so I allow my cats to have this now and again for a treat, but not too often, or they'll soon not eat anything else!
Cats naturally follow where their taste buds take them. Our cats rarely eat the same thing twice and that's how it went down with this food. They'll happily eat what they haven't had a chance to get bored with. And the ingredients aren't so amazing. Sugar? They'll eat this food but never twice in a row. They don't like that.
My vet has said that I have the laziest cat he has ever come across - that is some accolade but with it comes worry that one is doing something wrong. I have started to give a half and half mix of this and his other cat food but he seems to really enjoy this, so may increase it in future. Very good service from this company.
Our rescue cats need a boost and these pouches always go down well. I feel that they provide a good balance, giving excellent nutritional value and putting our abandonned cats back on track ready to find their forever home!
These are super for my cats, for an everyday special treat, a little change from their Royal canin biscuits, they love it!
My cat loved these pouches and I know he likes his meaty treat, this way I also know he is getting good nourrishment in a calorie controlled way
my two kitties are big fans! They start miaowing as soon as I open the cupboard. I give this paté as a Reward or treat but just 1 teaspoon per cat, 1 sachet is enough for 2-3 mini "meals". The bowls have never been so well cleaned!
There's a small amount of sugar in RC wet food. I was wondering about it and asked Royal Canin directly. The answer I got was: "A max. of 0.5% sugar is used in our wet food. In a pouch containing 85g that amounts to 0.42g. In natural reactions (the Maillard Reaction) the proteins in meat reacts with the sugar when heated. This creates a brown colour and delicious tasting glaze that cats love to eat. You have probably observed this process when glazing roasted meat. After this reaction is complete, the food no longer contains any pure sugar. Already unwell pets often have low appetites so these natural ingredients help to encourage them consume more..." Now I can feed this to my pets in good conscience since I am satisfied with their response.
This is the only wet food that our 16 year old cat can eat without problems, and it's also tasty :) This and the Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calories dry food is a good combination for her, even though the wet food Gastro Intestinal didn't work for her. We only tried this food by chance, because a colleague's 19 year old cat did not like it. Lucky for us, as we'd almost given up on finding a wet food she'd tolerate.
Really tasty food for my two furry friends. I give them only a little bit of the pate as a treat in the morning
My two black panthers love RC Kitten Instinctive, but I have trouble getting all of the food out of the pouch.
My two kitties eat this food much more quickly than their dry food. They just love it. I find it a bit more complicated to get all of the food out of the pouch, compared to Kitekat wet food
My fussy 12 year old Russian Blue cat just loves this and it's literally gone in seconds. I would also like to recommend the dry kibble Royal Canin Ageing +12 Cat food which she loves too!
My cat is very sensitive and has a huge appetite and this is one of the pouches he enjoys, prefers this make in gravy rather than jelly though
My 4 year old cat suddenly developed a bowel problem. He is now on a specialist dried cat food and Royal Canin wet food. He is now in good health with a shiny coat and a good weight.
my kitty adores it
I have two 11 year old, very fussy cats. They liked this food quite a lot but they tend to lick the gravy and leave some of the bits in their bowls. As I also feed them dry food, I don't really mind. As long as they are not eating Felix, I am happy.
This flavour from Royal Canin pouches is my cat's favourite. It has the most gravy.
Great product, i have a very fussy ragdoll kitten with expensive taste, she would turn her nose up at felix kitten pouches, and all dry food......THEN i discovered Royal Canin, i read the reviews and although its expensive thought i would give it a try. So glad i did she absolutely loves it before it would be a good day if she managed to get through 1 pouch of the previous brand and half of it was being binned, with royal canin she is thriving she eats two pouches a day now with virtually none going to waste, very impressed. It is slightly dear but if she loves it so much im happy to keep feeding her this. If you are considering trying it..do it you will not be dissapointed!
My little maine coon was weaned with royal canin products and liked them a lot. This wet food is particularly pleasing but I preferred to move gradually to Almo Nature, more natural and cruelty free.
Got a free sample of this with the last bag of RC biscuits I bought. Can't say much for it's "shiny hair" inducing qualities, but I can say that my kitten wolfed it down quicker than she does her usual meats! If it wasn't for the fact that we have her on a "lighter" diet I'd purchase this more often
Purchased this on our vets recommendation after being told our 20m/o Birman needs to "not gain anymore weight" due to her heart problem... She doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as some other wet meats, but then it is a lighter option, and lets be realistic, when does the diet food ever appeal more to us than the full-fat products!? It doesn't have a very strong odour compared to some other meats I've tried, and it has all the essential nutrients and quality you'd expect from a Royal Canin product. Definitely worth a look if you need to switch to a lighter option!
I have three very fussy cats, finding something they all like has been very difficult, but they all love this food and are not bored of it yet.
