My Guinea pigs live in a shed over the winter and as soon as the temperature drops, and also because they are about to turn 6, I use this heat pad. I don't use the cover as this would get soiled very quickly, but instead wrap it in newspaper (as it is very hot) and place it under their bedding. They are toasty warm all night long and they can stay in their hutch where they are most happy.

I love this a lot .. my cat took a bit of time to get used to it Ii stared putting it under his blanket worked better but him and I found it very hard

My cat loves Snuggle Safe. Me too, I keep stealing it off him during the night. It should be marketed for humans too. It's far better than a hot water bottle.

This is very good as it works very well - how long the heat lasts has too many variables unless the animal sleeps on it inside its cover then I'd say it would last up to 8 hours as another reviewer has put and it might last longer, our cat has yet to spend that long on it yet. Follow the instructions (with product) and it performs as promised. Very good for our cat at least.

An amazing product, safer than a hot water bottle! would be lost without this in the winter, 6 minutes in the microwave and wrapped up it stays warm for hours, welcome in the cold weather, cat snuggles up on top of it as soon as its placed under her, the cover can be washed easily, a good investment

This is a great product, it lasts all night. Used for both taking very young puppies to Vets and to keep puppy comfortable on cooler nights. Would be useful for older dogs too on cooler nights.

I got this for my jackahuahua pup who is tiny...she's had it for a few weeks now. She sleeps in her bed (rather than on me...so its much better for teaching her to spend time by herself in her den rather than being clingy to me). Its great to know that during the night she is warm. Before I got this I used a microwaved wheatie heatie under a fleece blanket, but still had to cover her over with the blanket when asleep. Now she runs into bed when she's tired and since 11weeks of age - when I say "into bed" when I see she's really tired she does so ( I credit this product). The best thing I've bought for her. Can't speak more highly of it. 5 stars*****

This item is very useful particularly with a new puppy, very easy to use. Maybe a little hard but last year my puppy snuggled up comfortably. Now use it if night time temperatures forecast to drop substantially.

Just bought 2 Heat Pads, 1 for my rabbits outside and 1 for my rabbit inside. All of them loved the concept, but it is such a shame the Pads don't stay warm for longer then 2 hours. Only after an hour they are not yet cold, but not warm either. After 2 hours both the pad inside and the one outside were completely cold, even though they were quite hot when they got out of the microwave.

I bought one of these for night time for our cat to dissuade her from sleeping on our bed because she liked to get warm between us rather than sleep in her own where i guess there's probably a draft on the floor even though her bed has raised sides, i figured if she was getting between us for the warmth perhaps having her own heat pad would help - and it does generally now she will get on our bed briefly initially whilst the heat pad is still warmer than she'd like (i put it under her material bed so its not mega hot directly for her, and if i feel its too hot i double wrap it in an old t-shirt etc too), then after half an hour she gets off the bed and sleeps all night (more or less) in the cosiness of her now heated bed. Now i just need to figure out how to dissuade her from using our bed when she's too warm in summer! The product heats up well, and when its double insulated it does stay warm all night - warm enough for a fur covered puss anyway who lives indoors. I also do the same for daytime so she can get cosy if she needs to when the heating isnt on and we're at work.

these heat pads are fantastic... my Chihuahuas keep so snug and warm with them... definitely recommend... so much safer than a pad you have to plug in.. and YES they stay warm for approx. 10 hrs... well worth the money.

Bought two of these for my Chihuahua pups back in February and I swear by them. Best doggy purchase I've ever made! My boys love their warmth and this is perfect for those cold winter nights or even just the chilly nights! I come down in the morning and they have snuggled under the blankets to sleep directly on top of the pads! They are very hard but that has never bothered my two and they can't get in bed quick enough when I put them in!! The only problem I have is getting them out of their warm bed in the morning! (If you heat them up for the correct time and then leave them in the microwave for a minuute or two after to get warmer, they stay warm ALL night!) I often have to pick my smallest one up out of bed and place him outside for tinkles! Yet he still runs straight back to bed!

I bought this Snugglesafe pad for our new 8 week old Dalmatian puppy to help her settle into her new home because I thought she would miss the warmth of her brothers and sisters at night. I also bought the Bonzo dog heat pad cushion. Together they worked brilliantly! Our new puppy settled in very happily and sleeps peacefully through the night cuddled up to it. I might even buy one for myself!

My aging cat loves this. it took her 2 mins to work out what it was for. When it needs heating up again she even miows at the microwave for it to be reheated. Has been a godsend for her during this very cold spell. am ordering another for my other cat who trys to cuddle up on it too.. but the older one wont let him near .

Excellent product, heat in the microwave and instant cosy bed! I use this every night for my cat and she loves it, I put it in under a fleece blanket and it is still warm 12 hours later! 5 stars, definitely recommend.

I bought this for my rats. They like to snuggle up to it (if it's not too hot). I found reducing the heating times to almost half helps finding the right temperature. The cover was chewed through in 2 seconds though. Would prefer something with a soft outer layer and a tougher inner layer.

I have snuggle safe heat pads for both my rabbits and guinea pigs, they both love them. One of my rabbits doesn't even like me take it out of his hutch to reheat it, he will sit on it both warm and cold. I find the heat pads especially useful when bathing the guinea pigs. It prevents them from getting too cold. They are also much less stressed after a bath with extra the warmth. It has completely changed bath time experiences.

This heated pad is brilliant for my 20 year old arthritic cat. It has made a real difference to her comfort at night. She stays in the house all the time these days but it can get chilly overnight. The pad stays warm for over 8 hours so is great for colder nights.

I have two staffies who sleep in an unheated room so I bought them a heat pad each which keep their beds lovely and warm. I heat up the pads and place them under their cushioned pads and blankets, which they lie on top of. When I get them up in the mornings their beds are still extremely warm. You may have to be careful if you have destructive dogs though.

I have four of these for my four guinea pigs and they love them. My pigs live in a shed and these give me peace of mind especially during the winter months. I have also used them when nursing sick animals and after bath time.
