I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works. My old dog uses it with ease and is delighted now that she can get back onto the couch and bed without assistance.
It is easy to transport and fold up to so one can store it out of the way when not in use.
I first ordered aluminum telescopic ramp, for ease to lift (it is not! Not recommended for anyone with any physical difficulty. Much easier with folding ramp). Dog is willing to walk up this one (but not the aluminum). Easy for him into the car, though he fell 3rd try due to the car door that does not open to unimpeded access ; he is still stubborn about wanting to jump/not be cautious, 14yo border collie mix, 30kg. Strong redwood smell, made in China. Prefer biodegradable to plastic. Recommend
This little ramp is amassing for the price, we have a Border Collie, yes it is a bit heavy but the size and fact it folds makes up for this, would recommend this little wooden ramp to everyone, it's cheap and does the job of all those expensive versions.
I like straight forward products with less to go wrong on them.My dog likes to follow me everywhere. with this ramp both of us are satisfied. He gets to wobble his elderly legs into my car and I can fold the ramp up and slot it behind my seat for our arrival.Took him a few goes to master this but its helped us both and inexpensively, with a good build quality.
Bought this ramp for my senior greyhound with back issues. She has taken to it really well and now gets in the back of the car with ease. We also are making our younger greyhound get used to it, just in case he needs it in later life. Very easy to use.
I must admit that when I ordered this I was a little sceptical because the price was so much lower than the others - but it is totally fabulous. I have a fourteen year old rescue labrador who weighs 35 kilos and whos legs have seen better days but he took to this like a duck to water. No slippage on the car, folds in half and has a little clip to keep it fastened and two handles to carry it. The dog was perfectly safe, it wasn't to narrow and it was as steady as a rock. Very, very pleased.
I've been using this for a while now and my dog is getting in and out of the car easily! My other dog won't use it but she's not got arthritis!! It's really easy to manuover with the two handles and stays in place well with the rubber feet!
Bought for my springer as she still thinks she's still a pup even at 12. Ideal for her to use an easily stored for use at the other end. Definitely recommend.
This ramp has been a great purchase. The wooden slats give it good purchase, as our dog isn't able to climb the ramps that just have a grippy surface. Before this we needed to carry him in and out of the car, which is hard on our backs with a German shepherd, and fairly uncomfortable for him. We're thinking of buying a second for my boyfriends car. Using it in public seems to be a big conversation starter, people always seem to stop and watch which is random, but fine!
Needed a ramp for our elderly dog as I am heavily pregnant and can no longer lift her in and out of the car. Didn't want to spend too much as should only need it temporarily. This ramp is very lightweight and folds easily so I can manage to put it in the car to take with us. Dog happy to use it right from the start. Very pleased with this product.
My dog louy has a trapped nerve in his back which makes it very hard for him to jump into the back of the car, but now hopefully this will help, its a new start with the ramp, I hope.
Bought this ramp for our 10 year old Australian Shepherd who was having problems jumping into our Volvo Estate.
On its arrival was impressed by the standard for the price
Erected it at the back of the car and enticed him onto it using food, no problems as he has done agility,
Good width and the rubber feet keep it secure.
Would recommend it
Tess is really pleased with her ramp and no longer does she land in a heap as she tries to jump into and out of the car. She took to it straight away. It is really well made and solid and yet is quite light weight and easy to fold and carry in the car. Wish we had bought one earlier.
