Trixie Vario Mobile Kennel

We bought this crate for springer spaniel pup, we used it when on a weekend break and on the second day she had made her escape! A 3 month old pup had torn two holes in the mesh, rendering the product useless.

I bought this for my puppy Ruby for my bedroom so that she can sleep bedside me but no risk of wandering with training accidents. Was able to put her own bed inside it so was easy transition and leave top open so she does not feel caged. After a few minutes of settling in (she is 3.5 months old) she was sound asleep and snoring till 7.30 am next morning. Fantastic product ~ very satisfied

We decided after much back and forth (kennel, cage or crate) to choose this kennel, because we originally only wanted to use it for our puppies and the coming holidays. Now we absolutely couldn't do without it. Our dog made the kennel into her new home on the first night. The only thing she found difficult at first was being closed in, because she caught her claws in the mesh and tore some small holes. Now that she has grown a bit more that is no longer a problem. However, I do find that the carrying handle is becoming looser with regular carrying from A to B, and will probably tear off at some point. I really have to take off a point for that! At the moment we don't take the kennel with us everywhere anymore, but even in the larger sizes (we have size L) it is still quite portable.

Wir haben uns nach langem Hin- und Her (Kennel, Gitter oder Box) für diese Box entschieden, da wir sie ursprünglich lediglich nur für unseren Welpen und die folgenden Ferien nutzen wollten. Inzwischen halten wir das gute Stück für unverzichtbar. Unser Hund hat die Box ab der ersten Nacht im neuen Heim ohne Murren angenommen, einzig das Eingesperrtsein war anfangs etwas schwierig für sie, weil sie mit ihren Welpenkrallen doch in dem zarten Gitter hängen blieb und damit leichte Löcher riss. Mit zunehmendem Wachstum (und Erziehung) ist das aber kein Thema mehr. Richtig negativ finde ich allerdings, dass die Tragegriffe bei regelmäßigem Tragen der Box von A nach B (ohne Hund, versteht sich) dennoch lose werden und sich zunehmend lösen und wahrscheinlich irgendwann abreißen. Das geht gar nicht und würde tatsächlich Punktabzug bedeuten müssen! Inzwischen nehmen wir die Box nicht mehr immer mit, aber sie ist auch in großer Größe (wir haben Gr 40) noch relativ "handlich".

Our dog trainer told us we should get a kennel for Snoopy so that he can have somewhere to hide when people come and visit (he doesn't like visitors much). We bought the Vario kennel because it has an opening on the wider side, and it fits better in Snoopy's sleeping area. We really like it, it's very stable and looks great. It's easy to put up and take down, and very easy to store in your car and carry everywhere with you. We go to a hotel for a few days every September and always take the kennel with us into the hotel room. At first Snoopy hated it. (He came from abroad and was transported in a box with lots of other dogs in a lorry, that probably explains why). Then I thought of putting his basket inside the kennel - and now he loves it! Would absolutely recommend the Trixie Vario.

Unser Hundetrainer hat gesagt, wir sollen für Snoopy eine Box besorgen, damit er sich zurückziehen kann, vor allem wenn Besuch da ist (Besuch mag er nicht so gerne) Wir haben die Vario Box gekauft, weil sie auch auf der breiten Seite eine Öffnung hat und ich sie somit an seinem Schlafplatz besser platzieren kann. Die Box finden wir absolut klasse. Sie ist stabil und sieht auch toll aus. Ist leicht auf- und abzubauen und mit der Tasche kann man sie leicht im Auto verstauen und überall mit hin nehmen. Fahren im September ein paar Tage an den Tegernsee in ein Hotel, da ist die Box fürs Hotelzimmer auf jeden Fall dabei. Snoopy mochte die Box am Anfang leider überhaupt nicht. (Er kam aus dem Ausland und wurde in einer Box mit vielen anderen Hunden mit dem LKW nach Deutschland gebracht, daher vielleicht am Anfang die Abneigung). Dann kam ich auf die Idee sein Körbchen in die Box zu stellen - und siehe da.....jetzt liebt er die Box. Kann die Trixie Vario auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen

This kennel is really great! It's stable and well thought out... and the size L fits perfectly into our Passat Variant (without even taking out the parcel shelf), and also into our VW Touran. It is also big enough to let a Giant Schnauzer lie on his side comfortably; he can also stand up inside it. Putting it together takes about 30 seconds and is incredibly easy. The dogs love having a stable, comfy and light kennel to chill out in at home in the car and outside during training.

Ich bin begeistert: diese Faltbox ist stabil und gut durchdacht...und sie passt in Größe L sowohl in den Passat Variant(die Kofferraumabdeckung kann sogar drin bleiben!), als auch un den Touran. Darüberhinaus ist sie groß genug, daß ein Riesenschnauzer bequem auf der Seite drin liegen kann; Stehen ist ebenso möglich. Der Aufbau dauert max. 30 Sekunden und ist kinderleicht. Die Hunde freuen sich über eine stabile, bequeme und leichte Box als Rückzugsgelegenheit für zu Hause, im Auto oder draussen beim Training

We absolutely love this kennel. It is super stable and doesn't crumple up, even when our Australian Shepherd puppy keeps moving around to get into the right sleeping position. The Velcro strips on the bottom stop it from sliding around when we're driving. We have just bought the same kennel in a larger size - I think that says it all.

Wir sind von dieser Box total begeistert. Sie ist super stabil und verknautscht auch nicht, wenn sich unser Aussiewelpe in die richtige Schlafposition dreht. Beim Autofahren kein Verrutschen, dank funktionierender Kletts am Boden. Wir haben jetzt die zweite Box in einer Nummer größer gekauft, ich denke, das sagt alles.

The kennel looks good, is very practical and has lots of different entrances so you can use ti in different ways. Our Miniature Dachshund loves it - he's slept in it since the first night we brought it home.

This crate is fantastic because you can open it from 3 sides, I've never found one before that allows you to do that. It means you can set it up lengthways or widthways.

Die Hütte sieht gut aus, ist sehr praktisch und vielseitig durch die versch. Öffnungen zu nutzen. Sie wurde von unserem Zwergdackel direkt gut angenommen - Er nutzt sie als Übernachtungsbehausung seit der ersten Nacht.

Diese Box ist optimal, da sie von drei Seiten zu öffnen ist, habe sonst keine gefunden, bei der dies auch möglich ist. So kann ich die Box längs und quer stellen.

This box is just brilliant, I saw it in a shop, but bought it here because it was cheaper ;-) My dog went straight into the box with no problems, even though he's never been in one before and is 12 years old :-) Great job zooplus!

Thrilled with this product, bought it in size M a few weeks ago and have been using it on the back seat of our soft top. Works brilliantly. I've now bought the size L for our Fabia 1.4 Combi and that one fits perfectly into the boot. You do have to take out the parcel shelf to fit it in though. But it's worth it, so that our little Münsterländer has a bit of extra room! Great service from zooplus as well! Couldn't be happier.

Bin begeistert,habe die Box in Gr.30 schon ein paar Wochen in unserem Cabrio auf der Rückbank in Gebrauch.Klappt super.Jetzt habe ich Gr. 40 für unseren Fabia 1.4 Combi bestellt und auch diese passt perfekt in den Kofferaum.Man muss allerdings die Kofferaumabdeckung ausbauen.Aber das ist es wert,so hat unser kl.Münsterländer etwas mehr Platz!Großes Lob auch an den Lieferservice!Freitag bestellt/Samstag geliefert!!Besser gehts nicht.

Ordered the box for my 3-month old Border Collie... unfortunately the zip fastening and material didn't stand up to her chewing it every night, so now the entrance doesn't close any more. She did seem happy and settled as soon as we put her in it though, and it's quick to assemble and easy to carry. If you don't have a puppy that likes to chew, I'd recommend this carrier.

The box is super practical because it can be set up or folded away in no time at all. Plus, it fits well even in smaller boots. Buuut... the mesh is very easy to tear, it rips super easily. So if your dog gets a bit rowdy, the mesh is gone and your dog is running all over the car. Our Aussie has already destroyed two sides, and the box is only 2.5 years old. Now, with the holes in the mesh, it's no longer usable and has to be disposed of at a high cost :(
