This is much comfier to hold than the conventional flat strap type of leash. It is indeed very soft and flexible. I am however a bit concerned that it will not wear well with a larger dog and if your dog is in the habit of biting the leash then this wont last very long at all. Beautifully made product but possibly not as tough as it needs to be. If you want a beautiful and comfortable dog leash this is the one. If you are looking for a leash that will last you for many years then it is possibly worth looking at one of the high quality strap type leashes instead.
