Best food for sighthounds (?) = Proplan!
After having two whippets who only ate Proplan dry food for pretty much their entire lives, we knew the food works well for sighthounds... or so we thought, and then we got a greyhound. His stomach wasn’t in the best shape when we took him in (5 years old, Swedish-born racing dog). But after a few months on Proplan, his stomach is in really good condition. We’re extremely satisfied. It’s just a bit of a shame that the food is so much more expensive in stores than online.

I switched from the salmon kibble to the lamb one, and the transition went smoothly. The kibble pieces are bigger, which means my dog has to chew them instead of just swallowing them, even with the anti-gulp bowl. His stools are much firmer now, he has less gas, his coat is shiny, and he eats way less grass than when he was on the Pro Plan salmon. I’ll keep an eye on things in the medium and long term to see if the lamb still suits him.
