TIAKI Critter Empire Small Pet Cage

We had to wrap the cage with wire mesh because the bars were too wide and my two rats escaped. It's spacious. Overall, I'm not satisfied—I had to stay up at night to make sure they didn't chew through the cables, and it just stressed me out.

My little group of rats always includes a younger rat because of their very short lifespan. The cage is fine for adult rats. Unfortunately, even a rat that's 8 months old can still easily squeeze through the bars. Not to mention the little ones. This cage is not suitable for smaller animals—the description is misleading.

The cage is generally very nice, but not suitable for rats—they really do escape from it in no time. After securing it with mesh for rodents, everything’s fine.
