For the price its an amazing and spacious cage which my rats absolutely love. Unfortunately the spacing between the bars is far too big for rats and they van escape. I solved this problem with mesh fabric and there havent been any problems since. Maybe if the rat is an adult it wont be able to escape but baby rats 100% can and will.

Large cage for great price, but... there is so massive plastic smell. Hope it will disapear after time.

The lower quality of the shelf covers is a downside for me. I think that if the cage comes with covers, it would be nice if they stayed on the shelves better. This takes away from the overall good impression of the cage. Otherwise, the space and layout are sufficient for my intended use.
