Product description

Dietetic food for fully grown cats with diseases of the lower urinary tract, for dissolving struvite stones, urinary acidifying properties, low magnesium content

Cats often suffer from diseases of the lower urinary tract, e.g. cystitis, urinary stones, blockages of the urinary tract. These are summarized under the term FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). These diseases often occur in combination.
Cats usually drink too little and therefore excrete highly concentrated urine. As a result, excess minerals can accumulate to form crystals or semolina. Large mineral formations are called stones. Struvite stones are among the most common urinary stones. These special struvite stones consist of a magnesium-ammonium-phosphate compound and form particularly when the urine has an alkaline pH value.

How does Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary support your cat?
Concept for Life Veterinary DietUrinary is a specially developed high-premium complete diet food for fully grown cats that is optimally adapted to the nutritional needs of cats with struvite stones and diseases of the lower urinary tract. The urinary acidifying properties of the food support the dissolution of existing struvite stones. As the struvite stones consist largely of magnesium and phosphorus, Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary has a low magnesium and phosphorus content that meets the requirements.
The high moisture content in the wet food serves to increase your cat's fluid intake, which flushes the urinary tract and dilutes the urine. This makes it harder for minerals to accumulate and germs to be excreted.
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Urinary is also suitable for lower urinary tract disorders, as the glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate it contains strengthens the bladder mucosa. Salmon oil can contribute to a shiny fur and supple skin.

Concept for Life Veterinary Diet - tailored to the special nutritional needs of your cat.
