Note for correct use of the Trixie Laser Pointer:
Playing for long periods of time with an intangible toy does not make for long-lasting fun. To avoid any frustration, the FroliCat Bolt Laser Cat Toy should not be left running for such long periods of time. Treats or an extra, physical toy (e.g. a dangler pole toy, ball or mouse toy) should be provided now and then. This will increase your kitty's chance of success and ensure a more enjoyable experience chasing after the little red dot.

My cat loves it

My cat loves it. She knows where I keep it and gets herself ready to run after the elusive red dot when I reach for it. The batteries last a good bit as well for that kind of toy. Great value for money.

What a relief!

My kitty tears around the living-room while I sit in the comfort of my armchair barely having to move. He becomes entirely focused on the red dot and it really engages his hunt-catch-kill response. 15 mins later he's collapsed in front of the fireplace, exhausted. I'll be getting more of these, need one in every room.

good for the price

The laser is a nice price, but I would say that it would be better if the button was a different shape as it can be uncomfortable to press down for a long time. Also, the button sometimes gets a bit jammed, that could do with improving!

So much fun!

This is so popular with my outdoor cat, she even knows the sound of the little key ring part when I pick it up. She cant wait to get running after it!

Great laser

One year old loves it, six year old acts like he doesn't see it, it's weird. But the laser is very nice and works really well.

Be lazy and run down your kitten/cats energy

I can now sit on the sofa and rest whilst still playing with my kitten. She loves it! And I don't have to barely move a muscle. Everyone is happy. Works really well if you turn the lights down low as the lazer beam is then really strong. Pretty good quality for the ridiculously low price charged.

Great value and fun

Having spent a fortune on new toys, posts, balls, you name it, my young cat is only interested in chocolate wrappers and this toy. Hours of use in the last two weeks and she never seems to tire of it. Such a small price for a happy pet.

Here lives a very tired cat indeed!

My cat absolutely loves this - so much so that just the sound of the mouse's keychain jangling gets him rushing up to me from anywhere in the house. He's an outdoor cat and very energetic, so this is ideal for burning off excess energy when the weather's bad - he'll thunder about chasing the infamous red dot for ages. The mouse itself seems to be good quality, and the laser is bright. The rounded on/off button isn't the most comfortable, and has to be held down to work, but I've no problem with this type of switching as it means it won't be left on accidentally. It's a shame that the mouse has to use three LR44 coin cells (not a fan of these), but they're doubtless needed to give the necessary power, and at least a set is supplied with the mouse.

Entertainment

Our cats love this, and we enjoy watching them chase the light across the floor, and up their cat tree. The only snag we find is that whenever we pick up the television remote control, we have two cats sitting waiting expectantly!

Excellent

This is the best laser toy I have found. It is my third purchase, the last two bought elsewhere and for more money were hopeless and broke within a day or two. The light on this is clear and bright. Lots of fun for my kitten and it's great exercise which is essential for an indoor cat. I shall definitely buy more.

Fantastic

Kitten loves running around after the light,it's her fsvourite toy and it never fails to excite her. Luckily for me I can sit on the couch and watch her racing around without braaking a sweat, the perfect lazy cat owners toy! The design is adorable too.

murder!

my kitten just love this, all i have to do is to move the toy slight without even turing the laser light on. he would jump up (while he is still napping) and get all wild.. best tory every! my boy has turned into a hunter when I get tired ot pressing the light and stop, my boy will be trying to "talk" to me to play again...this really is a MUST

Both of my cats love this toy, they know when I'm going to pick it up, before I've got it in my hand they'er ready, even if they have been in a deep sleep, they hear the chain and they're at my feet waiting for the game to start. brilliant toy for everyone.

Provides good entertaining exercise (until she works out where the light comes from)

My cat loves chasing this and I shine it on her cat post as well as everywhere else so that she can have a good run round and also test her hunting skills (ideal for an indoor cat). The only problem was that after a couple of times playing with it she worked out where it was coming from, so I have to stop using it for a while before bringing it back out again. I also worry that I might get the light in her eye by accident. Apart from that it is definitely worth having as it is good value and you can bring it in and out of the cupboard whenever you want.

kittens fav toy!!

My kittens both go daft for this little red dot, i can sit back and giggle as they get so excited and intent chasing the little dot all over the house. Brill for getting them moving as they don't do as much chasing with each other as they did when younger. Best thing i've ever bought for them!

Must be our cats' favorite toy!

This is a fantastic product for an incredible price, every cat owner should have one! They get totally crazy as soon as the strong, red dot appears, perfect for exersising even the laziest cat :).
