It’s empty in here!
My two cats loved this brand for over six months, absolutely wolfed it down every time. They won't touch it now, not even when crying for food. This happened between one order and the next. Has the maker changed the recipe?
Initialy this had a good reception (i left a 5* review) but now it is left in the bowl after a few bites. I wonder if they might be finding it too "beefy" and high in offal. However this might be due to me introducing other foods and they've become little divas
We'd had enough of the smelly litter trays and the mess that was left in them after their visits. I suspected a grain intolerance (I have 1 persian and 2 ragdoll x Persians).I slowly introduced animonda into their previous cat food (felix) and within 9 days my cats had pleasant litter trays and softer shiny coats. They eagerly wait for mealtimes and it is all eaten within a few hours. The tins are very dense too so they dont need too much to fill them up
First tried this when, as kittens, 2 of my cats had very bad diarrhoea. Tests at the vets showed no clinical problems, so a change of food was needed. I tried various grain free/high meat content foods, but this is the only one they all love. No more problems with poos!!! Now they are all on the adult food, they have beautiful glossy coats & clean their bowls every time - 3 very happy cats!
I had been struggling for years to reduce my cats' weight . Although I fed her the recommended amount of food it wasn't until I began to research that I realised the content of most commercial cat food is terrible quality. 4% meat, ash?! and filled with sugars and carbs. I found Carny wet, grain free and a v high level of meat content, my cat has never been healthier, energy levels have improved & at an ideal weight. Be warned it does take time to wean them off the 'junk' but persevere!
My Kitty used to be on a raw diet from Natures Menu due to having allergies but recently I have been struggling to afford it. After lots of research I found Animonda which is a high quality affordable food that agrees with my cat. I am particularly pleased by this offer since one tin lasts two days which makes it really cost effective compared to the other sizes and I still feel that my pet is getting all of the nutrients he needs and the food has a very high meat content which is perfect.
My cat loves this food! He is very fussy and used to often walk away from his food but now he always cleans his bowl and is so excited when he sees the tin. Ideally I would have him on a raw diet but he is so fussy and an old boy now, so I am happy for him to eat this. The main negative I think of is plaque from feeding wet food. I would recommend brushing your cats teeth, to try and prevent problems with them later in life.
Very good cat food, talk about happy cats, even licking face after, great price, thanks zooplus, never been let down comes highly recommended by my 5 cats
Having 14 cats I was struggling with the leftover waste of food from the normal car food products u can buy even the pouches of food too. Was working out too expensive for my household. No more 😀 Very very happy with this cat food. My cats absolutely love it. Their is a really good selection of choice in flavours too and you can see and smell the difference in the cat food straight away. I would recommend this cat food to everyone. It was recommended to me by a friend 😀
I ordered the beef & cod flavour because our boy likes fish and he absolutely loves it. Normally he goes for his dry food first and you sometimes have to trick him into eating his wet food. Not with this! He loves it and finishes it (almost) every time, sometimes even asking for seconds. So happy as we have been trying to find a brand of cat food that is healthy and which he likes. The price is really good, too, esp. if you buy a multipack. Excited to try the other flavours!
After trying 1 zillion expensive food, finally found this. You don't have to feed this as much do work out really good value for money. Compared to 300-400 grams of smilla or bozita, you only need to feed 150-200g of this. 1 can is all you need to feed to 2 cats (4kg ish each). There coats are shiny, and they are so full of energy all the time. Tip: don't buy the 800 gram though, dries up really quick.
Adults and kittens love this food!! And guess what??? No runny poo! Fantastic
We very much recommend this Cat food to everyone! Our cats seem to love it, It is a much better quality than well known brands we have tried in the past & It even works out much cheaper as they eat less as it's much more filling with the better quality of ingredients. The mixer packs are our cats favourite as they like the variety.
Amazing cat food, the only downside is its like crack for cats, my little lady hassles me for more and more everytime i go into the kitchen. I does however keep her fit and healthy
I have 3 house cats and 1 feral stable cat, only the feral will eat this. It looks and smells nice but obviously my house cats disagree. I won't purchase the very large tins again, I will just buy smaller ones for my feral.
Has given my cat the runs, have tried to implement it into his food but the consequences after are foul. Maybe its too rich for him
At last! A food that my siamese and foreign white can eat and enjoy without being sick afterwards! Super value and brilliant service from zooplus as always. Will try the dry version next because when I go away I will be able to use it in their automatic feeder. Hope it is as good!
I decided to switch from pouches (mostly Hills, Sheba & pets at home own brand) to cans - mainly to save costs. Frog didn't like this one at first - I think it was because the texture is very different to what she'd been used to - high meat content, so dry-ish without so much jelly or gravy that she'd been used to. In the end I mixed the first can with water to change the consistency, then stuck to the new foods that she seemed to like more. After a few weeks' gap, I've just tried a second can, and she has wolfed it down without any problems. It's very meaty - looks a bit like corned beef.
Our young cats were on Whiskas and were producing some pretty bad smells in the toilet department...! Read that it could be due to grain / vegetable content which cats struggle to digest so decided to go for something with a higher meat content. The cats went crazy for this stuff first time round and within two days we noticed they seemed to become more active and alert... and bad smells massively reduced! Would highly recommend.
My cat is very fussy, but definitely not too keen when she is fed this. It's quite dry - she's used to food with more jelly or gravy, and I've tried mixing in some water, which she seemed to prefer. It looks and smells OK, and I will persevere with the rest of the cans, but won't be repurchasing.
I recommend this cat food highly. It's extremely good value for money. It looks and smells like meat and the cat loves it. After doing some research on meat content and realising how bad the quality of most cat food is, I looked at the reviews on Zooplus and decided for this one. The cat is happy, her fur is soft and beautiful and she's very energetic. For such high meat content Animonda Carny is the best value grain-free wet cat food. Get some!
good value for money and both cats love it. one is an especially fussy eater but she absolutely loves this food.
Have been purchasing this product for a while for my cats and they love it and their fur looks amazing. The high meat content is currently helping my seriously ill cat (suspected cancer) maintain her weight (feeding orally) - sllowing her to be more alert/ more like herself and not starve to death on low protein/low quality commerical food -she may not be around for long but she is being well fed on good quality food which her body needs.
I wanted to feed my cats as near to their natural diet as possible. I haven't yet found canned mouse or bird! But this food is all meat at a very affordable price. If you are feeding sachets of the popular brands ( with very little meat content) this works out cheaper. 'Fussy kitty' doesn't like anything that's not in gravy, but will eat the Mixed Meat Cocktail. 'Large kitty' loves it all & has finally lost some weight. He's not eating less, he's just eating food that is not full of cheap carbohydrates. Cats need meat!
This food is great and I think reasonably priced. We used to buy Lily's Kitchen as one of my cats suffers from digestion problems, but Lilys was a bit hit and Miss and he still got a funny belly from it, so I looked around for alternative fuss free (grain, colouring, additives etc) cat food's and tried this. We use the Turkey and Rabbit and all 4 cats love it, are healthy and my problems cats stomach has improved greatly. And this is cheaper! Would definitely recommend!!
This is a very good meat content food, my cat's loved it for a long time but as usual got bored after i'd stocked up on it!
Last year I looked at a pack of cat food and was horrified sugars!! Cats do not need sugar so I decided to track down a meat meat cat food and found Animonda Carny. Initially they had a wee nibble but were not keen on it as it looks like meat not processed reformed meat. I persevered and now they love it, they look great fantastic coats so glossy and ever so energetic. Try it keep with it your cats will love you for it
Decided to try this as I'm on the constant quest for good quality food that doesn't break the bank. Our three had been fed on Shiny Cat for a while (with RC dried food) because of some digestion problems and it was getting to the point where they were actually getting fed up of chicken. We've got a 3 cats with range of ages from 5 months to 17 years and there's little point on feeding age specific food as they all swap around. Decided to try Carny as it had a high meat content, no nasty additives and was suprisingly cheap. All three of ours absolutely love it regardless of variety. You can definitely tell it has a high meat content as you can play "guess the animal part"! It doesn't look great but actually doesn't smell too bad and you know that they are all getting a high quality food.
I was looking for a good quality complete wet cat food that had a high meat content. Most brands end up being quite expensive if you have 2 or more cats. I find that Animonda Carny's cans are very good value for money. From a human perspective it isn't the most visually appealing food but my cats always finish their plate happily.
large can is enough for two days for one cat. various flavors
We moved to this from Lilys Kitchen as we like to give our cats as healthy a diet as possible (grain/ colourings/ flavourings free) but this is a lot cheaper than some other alternatives. It has a very high meat content, no fuss, and the cats enjoy it. We give them the Turkey and Rabbit variety and they eat it no problems. We feed them Burns dry food to snack on (on the side) to make sure they're getting all the vitamins and Taurine they need. Their coats are SO shiny now and they have lots of energy!
I decided to switch our cats to a grain free diet a few 6 months ago and I'm impressed with the results. They had been fed a diet of whiskers (I know not the best) as my older cat (6) wouldn't touch any other brand available in the supermarkets, and didn't realise you could get cat food delivered at a reasonable cost (thought the p&p would be insane as its heavy) so was glad when I found zooplus and even happier when I found this brand of food. I've seen a huge improvement in the condition of my cats coats, they enjoy the food and don't seem to poo as much (to the point I was worried but after a check up at the vets everything is great) When I first started switching their diets I would offer them both the whiskers and animonda (and for a short period bozita but they wouldn't touch that!) and eventually they refuse to eat whiskers full stop. Did have a few issues when first switching them over with diarrea and a couple of times one of them was sick but not sure if that was this or bozita, but thankfully it only lasted a few days
We have a 14 year old Burmilla, who has become very picky about his food. We've worked our way through various options, and I ordered this pack because I'm trying to move our cats away from grain foods. All of them eat this, but Willow shows true dedication, and is at the food bowls far longer than the others. He even returns to snack during the day, and prefers this food to the dried food that we also offer. A great success!
I've been feeding my cats on a mixture of dry biscuits and this wet food for years now. It's 100% meat so doesn't smell horrible like other cat foods and there's no nasty additives or sugar in there.
For some reason my cat just isn't keen on this. I don't know if its the brand or the flavour. Very similar in texture to Grau which he really likes but for some reason he doesn't really like it. Having said that it is very good quality and a nice consistency, I think perhaps the Grau just smells more appealing to him
My cat Missy is certainly not a fussy eater however after feeding her the turkey and rabbit variety (which she ate with no problems) I gave her the chicken and duck version. She took one mouthful and walked away. I was actually shocked. I mix her wet food with Iams so thought I'd just give her the chicken and duck Carny on its own just in case. But she wouldn't go near her bowl. Have to say the food didn't smell very good even though I'm not a cat! So now my local fox is getting the chicken and duck variety- and he eats it all! It seems other cat owners on Zooplus have had the same problem so choose your variety carefully.
my two cats all like this food, so i will order again!
very good price for high protein content,my bengal cat always energetic & playful when he is eating this but with other brands of cat food he is always sleeping so am always coming back to this,he does get bored of the same food after awhile so iv started to alternate this with fish and it seems to be keeping him happy.
My 2 greedy Orientals cannot get enough of these tins. Recently switched from using iams sachets (6 per day for the 2 cats) which worked out very costly, they refuse to eat dried food... The quality of the meat inside these tins seems good quality, looks good, is tightly packed and most importantly my babies adore it. Glad to see the back of 180+ sachets per month... Saying that though they do love the Carny exotic sachet with Kangaroo which I will give as a treat to share. Recommended - thumbs up - thank you Zooplus for making my life easier and for your always prompt delivery.
I have been looking for a food with a high meat content that isn't super expensive so I ordered this. I was worried that my fussy senior cat would turn his nose up at it, but he loves it!
