Using it for the passed 3 years
I got this cat box for my girl back in 2021 due to moving. Originally I had a standard box but my Norweign forest cat was very uncomfortable in it. So I ordered this as moving with her meant a long drive. I use this now for any of my cats or foster. The fact the top comes clear off and on is great for scared foster kittens at the vets, it's also not as hard to clip back together yes the alignment on the back hooks has to be right but if you leave it up this isn't an issue. Love it.
Lovely big cats carrier
The carrier is realy big. Exelent for big cats. My kitten loves it.
Excellent
Ordered this for my elderly neighbour after going through the options available with her on the site, her cat is semi feral so she wanted a top opening carrier that would be easier to get him into for vet visits. The carrier has two large top openings, and is incredibly light to carry, and she is very happy with it. I had read the other reviews of how fiddly the carrier was to put together, and was delighted to find that the one we ordered came ready assembled. Very happy with it.
Adventures on it!
Really good and big. Easy to assemble. cat went into it a few minutes after I put it on the floor (she is really scared of new things) and she is loving it!

So much better than front opening carriers
I love it, vet loved it. I can get my 7kg cat in so much more easily. He really fought the front opening carriers that I tried previously. And when going to the vet we don't even have to take the cat out - the vet simply lifts the hatch and has great access. No problem at all with it holding his weight. Yes you do have to take a moment to align the top to the bottom but its totally worth it for the convenience. So good I bought a second for his sister.

great design
sturdy enough for my tubby (heavy) cat who nearly 'hulked' out of the old one and the design of the hatch makes it so much easier to get a protesting cat in it without all the stress. When it arrived i was concerned at the sections didn't line up but it did reshape once clipped together so no issues there

Great for larger cats
Having read the reviews, I took a chance on this carrier & I am glad I did. Maybe the makers have made it a bit more solid recently as I can say that it's definitely sturdy enough for my 5kg cat. Yes it is fiddily to put together BUT the instructions tell you this! Once you've built it leave it closed for a few days and it will settle into shape making it easy to open and close. My 5kg has plenty of room in this carrier and the opening is fantastic for easy access, no fuss vet visits.

Great!
This carrier is great value for money and is a great size if you have a larger cat! Would recommend this to anyone who struggles getting their pet into the carrier as the door is very wide making life a little easier!

My Cats' Spaceship
I bought my Avior 15 years ago & am looking for an additional one. Sadly, my cat family for whom I originally got it, are deceased. The new generation includes Delilac, who walks right in & sleeps in it, if I leave it out. I have found it the BEST option for traveling across the continent & to/from the vets. I do make sure that it has ban closed with everything properly lined up, especially when others handle it. It has a bit of an alignment issue. As long as one pays attention, it locks tigh
Love this for mine
A friend just asked if I had a carrier to recommend, and when I came on to send her the link I was really surprised to see such mixed reviews. I'm intrigued whether this is one where it's luck of the draw.
I bought one a year and half or so ago. I only have moggies, not large breeds, so this could be the difference. My three have all been in it multiple times and it's totally held its shape - I've had compliments from two vets as well due to the wide front opening. I have two back up carriers just in case, and one cat I literally cannot get in anything but this one.
My boy also likes to sit on top of this, as I leave it available at all times (with the front lid removed and stored) so they don't just associate it with the vets. He hasn't bent it yet.
Sounds like it's not a sure buy, but if you get a good one I really don't think you'll regret it.

Great carrier
Top price for a great carrier. I run a private rescue and I love this one. Easy to get the cat in and out, Easy to watch and cuddle trough the small opening on top. Easy access for the vet. Big enough for two young cats.
So easy to get the cats in
I haven't noticed an issue with the quality, luckily. I absolutely love it as all my cats will go in it easily - unlike the fight if I have to use the regular cat box. I love this product :)
LOVE THIS CARRIER
This carrier is great, it took me all of a few minutes to put it together, really strong, i put my big siamese bengal x in it he weighes over 12lb in weight. I love the design and it is a strong carrier. It is easy to put your pet in and due to its shape i can hold it in my arms close to me and not have to carry it at my side. I recommend this item.

Brilliant for rabbits
I got this as my rabbit outgrew the supposed rabbit carrier within 2 weeks. I love how it has two openings and the flaps on either side of the handle. It means I can put her paper work in it and not forget it, like I have done before. Also having the ability to safely stroke your pet is a brilliant idea. I highly recommend this carrier as its such a bargain. I've had cats in the past and wish I had this carrier then.

Great for larger cats, particularly those who hate cat carriers!
I am owned by 2 Maine Coon Cats who are one year old but already much bigger than the average sized cat. These are fantastic as the large opening allows you to lift your cat into the carrier without having to try and ram them in a small opening that they definitely do not want to go in!
When you first get the carrier it is important to set it up correctly and make sure that the lid sits in the little clips on the side. It is made from plastic and you need to help it form into the correct shape. If you do this you will have no trouble closing the lid. I also keep mine closed when not in use and this ensures that when I do come to use it, I have no trouble.
The largest Maine Coon is 6.5 Kilos and he fits in fine and I do not worry about the carrier coming apart when I take him to the vets. I just check all the clips are in place and closed before lifting.
I was so happy with the first that I bought a second one and am equally as happy. If you have cats who hate cat carriers then this is definitely worth considering buying.

Brilliant
We bought this after seeing a recommendation in Your Cat magazine. Our larger cat hates going to the vet and we wanted to make it as comfortable for him as possible. One of the ends lifts right up and was really easy to put him in with less stress than in other carriers. There is also a hole at the top so you can comfort your cat during the journey. We will buy another one for our other cat.

This is so roomy. Has transported my 3 hefty cats in one hit for many short journeys. Easy to use.
